Interesting Experience in SSMB - Potential Creepypasta Redirect

Now this is a story all about how

my shit got flipped turned upside down

And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there

And I'll tell you all about how my pants became wet in the crotch area.

 

So seriously, I was just browsing SSMB, listening to music, whistling a merry tune.  You know, the usual.  Now bearing in mind, the only tabs I have open are FaceBook, SSMB, and YouTube.  Nothing unusual.  I do this all the time...

 

SUDDENLY (and I do mean suddenly; there was no hint or anything) a seizure-inducing flashing image of the "go to sleep girl." (Google image search it if you don't want to sleep for the rest of the week) appeared the fuck out of nowhere and emitted a horrifyingly deafening scream that nearly gave me a heart attack.  I couldn't find my way back to SSMB, so I think I was somehow redirected.

 

So uh... am I the only one who nearly suffered a horrible fatality at the hands of this?  If so, what was the immediate cause?

 

EDIT - I hope my headphones aren't broken now :v

 

EDIT 2 - I'm wondering if maybe my mouse involuntarily clicked on something.  I was about to click on the Sonic Discussion forum when it happened, so I just don't know.

Now this may sound stupid, but my dad told me the only way to get rid of a trojan is by playing the sound (which seriously sounds stupid). Anyways my point is it might be gone...for now.

Does the new IP.Board have an update that only allows mods to lock a topic for certain people?  Because... the topic that got Obama banned from SSMB was locked for me, but I still saw normal members posting there.  WHAT IF THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH IT?!!?!?!?

Oh, so that means my computer must have somehow clicked on it.  I don't know how.  Like I said, I was clicking on the forums, not on status updates.

Oh, thank God.  Here I was worrying that my computer had been infected or something.  Thanks for telling us.

 

That still doesn't answer how I somehow clicked it even when I hadn't even clicked on anything, but I'll dismiss that as Windows Vista.  Or, you know, I have a non-SSMB-related virus or something.  (My theory is that I was using the scroll wheel and may have accidentally clicked down on it, but then that would have opened a new tab, not redirected me)

I have no idea what a heart attack feels like, but the last time I saw a screamer I had chest pains for hours >_<
