Traditional art such as pencil is pretty uncommon especially art that is as good as this. The SonAmy is lovely and the lyrics are a really cool part of the composition and the whole piece is so peaceful and vibrant.

Edtropolis' style makes Sonic characters look super cool. Yeah yeah, he draws some raunchy stuff, but you just can't deny that his colors and style are amazing!

As great as rontu is, this isn't pixel art as it doesn't have a pixel-by-pixel level of refinement.

This one was made years ago (2005 to be exact) by a guy called goldhedgehog and I still adore it to this day. The fact that it was drawn using ballpoint pens is impressive, especially when you consider the way the water looks and the way it flows down Knuckles' head. Knuckles' design is also really cool. It's a simple drawing but still really nice to look at and it's one of my favourites in Knuckles fanart.

Giving this topic the bump o' justice. One of my personal favorites are the Sonic game cards by Sonicguru.

 

 

 

 

I've always loved minimalism when it comes to artwork, but Sonicguru does a perfect job of providing simple imagery showing iconic objects from each game.

I'd he Tails logo for Sonic 2 and obviously the S&K logo for S&K but can't think of the rest

The eagle motif was really a thing in 06, it's one of the few times it seemed like they'd put attention to detail in that game.
