The, uh, eShop updates on Thursdays around noon. I don't know how it is in Japan, but that's how it is over here. I wouldn't worry about being left out. That said, the demo might not arrive in the west until next week. Who knows?

OK, that spindash is a little ridiculous. it just seems to keep going for miles. Difference in design approach, I know, but holy balls.

The spindash apparently works similar to the boost. When you rev up and release if you don't hold down a button you got to running mode. If you keep pressing the button you keep going for as long as you don't crash into anything and enabling the Parkour.

The Spindash cancels out if you crash into a wall, you can't do the Parkour with it. The Spindash in the Wii-U version does slowly stop over time even if you press the button, in the 3DS version it didn't even lose any speed.

Yeah thats what i was saying it with crashing into something. A wall for example and going into parkour mode.

Apparently it's not up there. :(

Is there any chance it'd go up some other day? I guess it could be next week, but that Thursday is literally one day before the EU release.

I find funny the fact that the DEMO is already on Japan but not on other countries. Seriously, Sonic sells better in all the countries than in Japan.

It is because Sega doesn't care for their current fans and trying to reach out to the Mario fans in Japan.

Gotta love that line of dash rings in Windy Hill

Thrilling

Hey, it's better than tons of Speed Boosters and springs.

They are the air equivalent.

At least they're fucking useful, unlike the speed boosters.

SpeedBoosters are useful if they are placed in a useful spot, they've been in both useful and useless spots more and more.

Man I just want more gameplay from the 3DS version to be revealed, they let the Wii U version reveal Desert Ruins Zone 1, Frozen Factory Zone 1 & Tropical Coast Zone 4 but the 3DS version cant at least have Windy Hill Zone 2 revealed, WTF. Anyway with the showing of Desert Ruins Zone 1, we now know that level themes can switch up at any time in the level, making my theory about being launched off into the Honeycomb, Candy Stage & no duh the Casino obviously, really high.

I wanna know about the Silent Forest Ruins with the light switch puzzle type thing, hope it makes it in there, along with the Mech Tropical Coast which is still highly likely due to the fact that there are those Red Steel Construction Beams in Zone 2 & in Zone 3 theres that Underwater drilling like in the Wii U

They help you gain speed, the exact same thing the Spin dash does, and makes the game more automated, so...yeah, again, not very useful.

I wonder how many spring/speed boosters there are in this version of the game.

They're more than on the Wii U version, but there are tons of speed boosters on certain places, but on the rest of the levels, there aren't much. Surprisingly enough, the Wii U version seems a bit more automated than the 3DS version, something really impressive when you know the developer of the 3DS version is DIMPS.

The Wii U version has tons of automation as well. Remember Casino Zone.

But the casino zone doesn't have ten speed boosters all in a straight line

At least they're just in that certain place and not spammed all over the place like in Casino factory.

If your saying the Casino zone for the 3DS version or Frozen Factory Zone 3 for the 3DS version has 10 speed boosters you cant cause you havent even seen the zone yet soo...

Theres like 2 Casino zones anyway, one in Frozen Factory Zone 2 in 2D & one in Frozen Factory Zone 3 in 3D
