Aesthetics and music look meh but the gameplay looks awesome! Co-op in 3d Mario? Playable Peach with Unique Abilities? Awesome, hyped for this! I just wish we got a game with the "epic" feel of Galaxy............I hope Mario doesn't abandon doing that forever......

Eh im kinda miffed that they didn't decide to take this in a bold new direction judging from the artstyle. I was kind of hopping for another grand epic adventure like Galaxy instead it looks like another relatively samey Mario game.

Hahaha, Blue Toad is a lovely touch in recreating SMB2 from the NES. Nice job, Nintendo. I screamed when I saw Peach. Like, absolutely fangasm'd.

SO hyped for this.  I admit I wanted a grand feeling too, I hope not every level looks like a blocky playground like the 3DS ones did - they can do better while still delivering on level design - but Mario 2 and Mario 3D land are two of my favourite Mario games so this made me so happy.  I SQUEALED at playable Peach and squealed again when she floated and squealed AGAIN when Toad showed up and it was Blue Toad.

I am so excited for this. 3D Land is one of my favorite Mario games ever and this looks like it has the same charm yet with completely new stuff. And they're adding Peach as a playable character, I love me some Mario 2 refs! This game is honestly the one that's making me lean toward getting a Wii U in the near future. I can see myself having just as much fun with as the 3DS title, if not more.

Although he was coloured correctly in the SMB2 artwork.  Still I'm glad, I like Blue Toad, I usually play as him on NSMB in co-op.

Wow, I've never been more excited for a Mario game in my life!

 

I loved 3D land so much when I finally got to play it, and I'm so happy they're continuing it's gameplay style.

 

Also, the multiplayer looks very fun, as well as the new powerups.

 

I cannot wait for this game to come out.

Fuck guys, unique movesets?  I got pissed off over the NSMB2 nonsense but now I'll give it to you - yes Wario and Waluigi would be fantastic unlockables in this.
