In the same sense that the NSMB games are good, but still really suck. The first trailer looked like 3DL mk.2, and I found that game to be a terrible drag.

Honestly, I already wanted this game before. But now, to say that I really want it is an understatement. It looks freaking beautiful and there seems to be a load of different items and gadgets to use! I just from the trailer, I can see a good amount of level design variety as well. So yeah, I'm game, and ready to pre-order!

- Bowser invades a neighboring kingdom and imprisons some of its citizens
- the citizens look like princesses
- Bowser is out to steal their treasure
- some stages let you move the camera while others don't
- Piranha plants can also bite other real-life players
- this bite will stun them for a second

- encounter a giant Piranha Plant's silhouette on a wall that turns out to be a tiny enemy that just happened to be close to a light source
- new power-up includes a cannon you can wear to fire off explosive shells
- carry a sleeping Piranha Plant that will eat up bad guys
- Goomba costume which Mario can wear and use to sneak around an enemy compound
- in multiplayer, you only have a few seconds to touch the flag once the first person does
- if you get the best score twice in a row, you'll get more bonuses besides the crown

I'm trying to decide what my favourite new powerup is.

 

I guess it'd be the Goomba disguise if it counts as a powerup, but if not, I really do like the Cat suit. Copy looks fun and could lead to some cool puzzles for sure. Hmmm.

 

Collectibles that allow you to customize Miiverse posts? That's pretty cool.

 

Also, a kingdom full of Princesses? Sounds like my kind of place!~

HOLY CRAP! I thought 3D Land was great fun but this looks ten times better! Just look at it!! The graphics, the power ups (so many!), the music, dat epic Bowser boss battle + pimp car!

 

So hyped! Getting this for Christmas fo sho. Miaow miaow!
