Yasuhisa Kawamura discloses... quite a lot of unknown early Resident Evil stuff

Yasuhisa Kawamura was one of the people behind some of the early resident evil games, he's mainly known for being one of the scenario writers on Resident Evil 3.

Recently he had an interview with a random RE fansite in which he disclosed... quite a lot of information about many of the early Resident Evil games and went into a lot of detail about characters and entities within the games as well as ideas which never made it into the final game.

He even explains one or two plotholes about some of the RE games including how Leon and Clare were able to get into Raccoon City when by all rights it was quaranteened by the US government at the time.

If you're into this kind of stuff it's quite a good read.

He goes into amazing detail about everything, including how many branches of Umbrella there were at the time, what projects they were working on, how they controlled the BOWs, how they were in competition with one another, why the G-Virus mutated Birkin the way it did.

And... it's quite funny how he clearly hates resident Evil 5 and wants nothing to do with it =p

Oh, well this is interesting.

I've always had an interest in the whole Resident Evil 'lore', there's just so much to it, the depth in the story is insane.

Gonna read it now.
