What's that? You want gameplay? Yahoo's got that too!

EDIT: Oh right! I forgot to say what stages were talked about!

New Windy Hill,  New Frozen Factory, the Cold Hard Cash Casino, and Silent Forest.

WHOAAAAAAH!

Wii U head-to-head multiplayer!

HD Frozen Factory, looking awesome! I love that ice skating animation. (inb4 some YouTube idiot says something along the lines of "omg this game is so gay, now sanic ice skates, negating Shadow's skating animation, rabble rabble")

Now we know who said the "You're going home in a box!" line. The D6 really aren't screwing around.

Elemental shields no longer confined to 3DS version! Yahoo! (npi)

Oh that Zazz, making up for his scrawny figure with tough words.

I... I believe that's Knuckles in the multiplayer footage at one point. Looks pretty red and such to me... well, I guess we can at least count on Knuckles and Amy as party characters?

Wait... the video says it was uploaded 15 hours ago.

WHY DON'T YOU SAY ANYTHING, SEGA?

Are you implying that modern SEGA cares about selling their games?

Red Sonic, sorry.

Good ol' Aaron Webber, starting a stage by jumping over a speed booster.

If nothing else I'm pleased the music's been changed around again. I'm more hopeful there's an actual theme now that they seem to be using music from inside the game rather than instrumental tracks. I wonder if the theme will be vocal or not...

Red Sonic, sorry.

Arghhh, seriously?

Guess I'm back in the "Knuckles and Amy will be on the 3DS version" camp now... sigh, there go my beautiful hopes. sad.png

What kind of brand manager would he be if he didn't show off his legit skills?

I'm at where Aaron plays the 2D stage, and it looks very classic.

I'm serious, it's not as linear as Unleashed's 2D sections, it's not as blocky as Colors and Gens' 2D sections (excluding Classic Sonic's stages), there are slopes, ramps, and loops, and imaginative environmental platforming. Iizuka wasn't kidding when he said that this game goes back to Sonic's roots.

Does it appear to have any momentum gameplay? On the 2D Dessert Ruins stage it looked like even steep slopes had Sonic standing totally still or not being affected by it when he started walking or running.
