Sonic Lost World Preorder DLC

Exactly, they're the same, but the European one has the Deadly Six Part at the end.

That doesn't fill me with confidence for the Americas then. With any luck, the NTSC versions will be able to get this content as a pre-order bonus or standard DLC, even if not as a separate edition of the game.

EDIT: I zoned out and wrote a half a post, riddled with typos. wut

Considering past happenings (and especially with Generations), I don't have high hopes for an American release to "The Deadly Six Edition". :\

By the way, I love your sig image.

I'm kinda excited for the preorder bonus and I'm not really into NiGHTS. Anything for one of SEGA's most popular frachises to get more attention.

Yeah, make pre-order exclusive content to a game that’s already on a system no one is fucking interested in buying yet. Brilliant Sonic Team, fucking brilliant.

I don't plan on pre-ordering a game for a system I won't own for another 2 years, so I'm kind of miffed about this.

I won't own a Wii U by the time this comes out either, but if the money's right (and this is American content as well) I might just pre-order the thing anyway and wait on the console. It wouldn't be that bad of a wait either; I've been conflicted on this game for awhile so I imagine I won't end up holding someone up for their Wii U after a break in my sanity any time soon.

...I don't understand this logic? They make the game more and more interesting and add all this extra pre-order content so you will like to buy the console. It seems kind of obvious, especially since Sega specifically said they're trying to help sell the Wii U here.

How much do you wanna bet the Deadly Six edition ends up being exactly like the Transformed Limited Edition?

Several limbs.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's harder to find an edition that ISN'T 'special' after release.

Hahahahaha what

Lost World, along with WWHD, 3DW, and DKCTF is one of the big games launching exclusively on Wii U this Autumn. It's all part of an effort to increase U sales. SEGA will too be trying to secure pre-orders with a special edition like this.

Chances are that the exclusive content will be available one way or another in the Americas at launch, either as standard DLC or as a pre-order bonus like Casino Night, even if the Deadly Six Edition doesn't make it over there. And considering the nature of this content, I can easily see it becoming availabe to purchase from the eShop too.

I don't quite understand what you're so mad about.

Hang on a second, this isn't yet another PAL exclusive bonus is it? The rest of the world already missed out on Colours, Gens and Classic Collection's special editions.
I'm a little bummed out that the whole world is not getting Japan's Lost World special edition, well unless a miracle happens.

I sort of understand what he means. He doesn't have the system in question, so he's miffed at the fact  that he wouldn't be able to play the awesomeness that he's looking at. I'm in the same boat somewhat as I enjoy the cameo, but can't get a Wii U until I get the funds to do so.

So, is this available for preorder now? I plan to import it.

Bear in mind that the U is region locked if you do. But there's not anywhere listing it just yet I think.

Japan is getting a soundtrack CD, but I'd guess it's not the full soundtrack for the game. It'd be nice to have though.

What exactly do you mean on the second sentence?

Seriously hoping that this isn't region exclusive DLC/pre-order bonus. It'd be a real shame for them to put in something that looks this cool (this is coming from someone who has never touched a Nights game) for just European players.

Nowhere has got it for sale/pre-order yet.

Because everyone has money to set on fire for a console no one is supporting yet. (we can take this to the Wii-U thread for the thousandth time if you want, but I'd rather not)

Pre-order exclusive DLC in general is bullshit. But Nintendo has the /worst/ online system in the industry. DLC is tied to your system. If your console breaks? That DLC is gone. Forever.

If it was something like a poster or a hat, that's fine, it's a little trinket for people who bought the game early.

But actual in-game content? Choke on a mountain of dicks, developers.

Oh, okay then.

Well, I guess I will have to wait for the DLC to come for the Wii U over here, if it ever does.

>A console no-one is supporting

But gutsier teams (like Sega) are...??? Games sell consoles, and will potentially rise the want to make games for it from other developers, while said gutsier companies and first-party stuff reel in the dough and attention. I still don't get it, unless this is moreso just a stab at DLC (something thats just a standard nowadays) and/or Nintendo's "worst online in the industry" (which I guess the short answer from me would be "I don't really care if it lets me play games")?

And if the Deadly Six Edition is how it is, then there's no worry about DLC since it's already unlocked on-disc from the getgo. That's the only DLC-less way that we can dodge that bullet, that is if it ends up not having a release in America. And even then, do we know if said DLC would have a price?

Well I'm bummed out :/

I will be getting a Wii U but I doubt I'll have the money by October! Chances are the deadly six edition will be gone by the time I can buy it :/

You have a good chance of getting it, I think. I still see the Limited Edition of ASRT in stores and online.

It shouldn't have to be a bullet that needs to be dodged in the first place.

So your problem is that they're releasing content for a console you don't have yet.....I fail to see how this is moreso their fault than it is yours for not having the console in the first place. I understand you can't afford it, but I'm still not following why are you blaming them for this.
