So I don't get to play the content too because I can't afford the console right away?

...

Okay.

....It's pretty much guaranteed to get a DLC release later.

...Yes? Like I really don't know what else to say. if you're planning on getting the console eventually just preorder it so you can have the content and wait until the console comes later if you hate Nintendo's DLC that much.

Then what's the point of announcing it as exclusive DLC?

I'm not pre-ordering a game I don't have the console for. I may be bad with money, but come on.

It was announced as additional content for free with the Deadly Six Edition, whether it's DLC or not is debatable, however if it is DLC it just means you get it for free with this, but have to pay later if you don't get this. If it's on the disc already, that just means it's removed from later version and has to be downloaded.

If you plan on getting the console eventually I don't see the problem.

I don't know if I will. I'm hoping I eventually have a reason to buy one, but until then I'm not going to throw money in the wind for a game to a console I'm not going to have for a while, if at all.

That's like buying a sunhat when you live in Russia.

Even if it's cold, over-exposure UV rays can still damage your skin!

If you're not absolutely sure you're interested in anything on a Wii U, then I don't understand why you're upset if its coming to a console you're not fully invested in

Because it's a game I'm interested in? Trailblazer on Gizmondo has my interest, doesn't mean the console is worth buying to me.

The only difference is the Wii U still has time to shine. And isn't funded by the italian mafia

Fair enough that you think pre-ordering a game for a console you don't own in order to get a pre-order bonus you really want is a waste of money, (I personally don't, because I can still get the console later, as can you by your own admission), but considering that is literally the only solution as of now, your platform to complain about it is subsequently lower than it would be otherwise.

Amazon.co.uk probably. You'd need a PAL Wii U or a modchip to run it though.

If this is indeed Europe only, which sites would be a good place to preorder?

Well how are you gonna play it?

You'll also need an EU Wii-U and you'll need an EU Nintendo ID in order to access the content on the store, assuming it works like Microsoft/Sony's services do.

I understand the guy's concerns. I too am a bit skeptical whether to get the game or not.

It does look dreamy, but a Wii U is a lot of money, and considering that the Wii U is well-known to have very little games, it's a hell of a lot of money to spend on a console that might end up a flop.

It depends on where it's available. If it's only available on certain sites, they may not ship internationally. Otherwise we'll just spread the word once it's available.

FTR, if you want to import it still and you can't find somewhere that'll ship to the USA (or at least not for a decent price) hit me up a PM and we can sort something out.

Well if it's Europe exclusive then this is the perfect reason why the Wii U shouldn't be region locked =P

Woah woah woah, why are you guys freaking out about this? Why are we talking Europe only? Was it ever confirmed? No? So stop jumping to conclusions until it's officially announced by SEGA themselves, then you can start castrating people, but for now I'm surprised you guys aren't raving over this...

People are thinking ahead of time due to past events, nothing's been confirmed.

Doesn't hurt to be cautious.

Yeah SEGA have yet to even release a press-release for this edition let alone acknowledge it anywhere besides the trailer itself (which I think was probably released earlier than they intended) so assuming it's not coming to US is jumping not just one gun but every gun and a GUN truck too.

That's a lot of guns you're jumping there it's dangerous stop that.

Even in past events, all regions ended up getting actual game content eventually.

We got all the DLC every time they released it.

People, if buying a Wii U is in your plans then you can simply buy the Special Edition as soon as possible, then its all waiting for getting enough money for a Wii U... If it isn't then... Well, there's always the next game.

I'll probably do that, after all this generation will be long so there's enough time to buy a Wii U to get them Exclusives and then a PS4.

Reasons for assuming SLW:DS Edition will be Europe only:

  • Colours/Generations limited editions got released in PAL/European territories only
  • No information like this included in the American trailer
  • Generations bonus content was available in the Americas, but only as a pre-order bonus/standard DLC and not in a limited edition.
I think it's a very fair assumption really. Set in stone? No. But it's certainly not an outlandish conclusion to jump to.

Right, moving on... this is just plain awesome! The series' closeness to NiGHTS was all but lost after SA2, making only the slightest appearance in ShTH and in the SA2 sections of Generations. To have it back, and to this degree is really exciting. Not to mention plain random. These are full on boss battles from NiGHTS, maybe more seeing as we don't know specifically what the DS edition includes. I'm hugely excited for it.

All I want to know now is which shops will be stocking it. Generations had a GAME exclusive version (included Casino Night), but chose not to stock the full collectors edition because of the high RRP. This could very well be exclusive to just one store.

No we havn't.

Didn't it take well over a year for the PS3 to get some of the Unleashed DLC? And then, has Casino Night been made available on all platforms in all regions yet? Edited by Blue Blood
