The streamer said the level is hard but he also said it's fun

kinda hard to have fun after you've died 30 times but at least he's having fun lol

Well this is one of the latter zones, so I guess this might just be natural difficulty and learning curves setting in. Lord knows, watching someone play is waaaaay different from playing it yourself.

Well he is the one playing the game after all. If it was this exciting for us during that gameplay and cutscenes, imagine what the real big experience will be like when peeps can play it for themselves as well!

And I'm back. I probably missed a lot, but at least I can see the rest of Lava Mountain. And sonovabitch... this level looks hard. The music sounds so beautiful though.

 

Now I really hope the 3DS version gets these tracks in there somehow, if all we have is the boss rush...

 

So...what happened? Is Lava Mountain Zone 1 amazing? Did shit hit the fan even harder?

Look and Feel is at play then? It doesn't look very fun but it does feel fun to play. This kind of thing always happens, its not a big deal.

Grinding is really fun shit, but annoying level design isnt really fun shit. And how are you having fun when you've been looping the fucking stage for the last 60 years

Thus is the magic of when you play a game yourself, you tend to get sucked into it. If it's good enough, such appeal motivates you to try, try again!

Y'know this is why I don't really like lives systems in platformers. What's having to do everything all over again adding to this level?

Makes sense, but when you die like 50 times & im pretty sure you've gotten the part of the level where you fucked up at down already, its kinda hard to have the same experience watching it..

 

Seriously hope the 3DS version has these amazing as tracks in these, so far I heard Sky Road 3DS didnt have the Silent Forest theme but instead took a Frozen Factory Casino during the day type of theme, gonna have to wait till someone streams or uploads this shiznit. And Takashi said that when you beat a world you unlock a wisp & then you have levels set up so you can enjoy that wisp power after unlocking it, interesting. And if collecting Red Star Rings in the Wii U version most likely unlocks Super Sonic then what do the Red Star Rings do in the 3DS version when you collect all of them? Cough inb4Boost4noreason

All too true. Although a pokecapn LP would've found a way to make watching someone die this many times entertaining!happy.png
