Another year means another October, which means another opportunity to celebrate my most favorite holiday in the world: HALLOWEEN!

Ah, Member #____, let me explain!

 

You see, back in the glorious year of 2012, right before when we thought the world was gonna end magically, It was a pretty hilarious yet awesome event, seeing the creativity of your fellow members blossom.

 

So you see, due to Mandobardanjusik bringing it to my attention that there was some talk of wanting it back again this year, here we are! 

 

RULES!

 

• "Werehog-ify" anything appropriate for the forum. Sonic, Tails, Amy, Vyse from Skies of Arcadia, Jet Set Radio, Mario, Pokemon, your Wii, your Xbox, your PS3, your cat, your neighbor, your neighbor's cat (which is a member on our board btw), etc. The list goes on forever, seriously. Turn anything into a werehog monstrosity like that of Sonic Unleashed, however you see fit. Stretchy arms? Cleats? Woofyness? IDK!
• Use whatever medium art you see fit (again appropriate). Traditional hero of the pencil and paper? Do you fancy MS Paint? Are you a wizard of distorting images found on the wide web? Can you 3D model like a mad man? Is music your forte? Can you sculpt things out of butter sticks? Whatever brings forth your imagination, make it happen yo!
• This ain't serious to the max, enter as many times as you want of whatever you want! Should be mentioned this is all in good fun, so have fun creating as many things as you can think of and share the joy of being awesomely creative.

That should cover it? I might add more if I forget junk later, but that's the gist. Oh right, the rewards! People that are new to this will have the chance to be like your older SSMB brethren and don one of the badges from before (listed below).

Returning participants will be receiving new badges as an upgrade from your old. I mean staying fresh is cool right? I haven't decided on the images yet, so that news will be coming later. But don't fret! If you like your old badge over the new ones I might find, just lemme know after the contest is over and you can still hang on to your old one. Though I just don't want to add another because I'm trying to prevent extremely long badge lists that clog up posts haha.

 Grr! For participating in the event (should be self explanitory, but that means by posting your submission in this thread)

 Chocolate? A sub-option badge to the Sun medal if you enter in more than once. If you recieve the Moon medal you get both! Neat!

 

Before she became staff, This was decided by the staff team's favorites based on creativity alone (not skill!, keep that in mind everybody!). But this year would like to offer a more community based action.

 

At the end of the contest, those who have entered will be able to message me in a PM with their top 3 choices to be apart of the judging process. Tallying them up along with the staff's choices will result in the final results of who is determined most wolfiest of hedgehogs!

That's a lot there but it's not actually too many rules! Remember just make a werehogified version of anything you can dream of that's appropriate for the board, as many times as you want to enter, however art medium you want!

 

So yeah, get out there and be creative! I really look forward to the fun we have and the crazy junk we come up with haha!

While defending would be crazy fun to watch, I was on the mindset with "alongside" since I didn't ask you in advance, plus the moar stretchyarms the better(?). Though if you win, maybe the badge can be passed down while you get something new and shiny, but we'll see how things unfold LOL
