Oh, these Kickstarters are kicking off left right and center, aren't they?

Remember Boogerman? Well, if you don't let me fill you in. Boogerman was a game released for the Mega Drive by Interplay in 1994, and later on the SNES in 1995.

Now, this game here is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the titular character. The main goal of the project is to create a game that, while featuring wholly original levels and features, also harks back to the old days of mascot platformers.

But Why should you care. Maybe you didn't like Boogerman, maybe you've never played it. Well, take a look at the team working on this.

First up, we've got Mike Stragey, original co-creator of the game, and a programmer that has worked on titles such as Shantae and Contra 4. He's handling programming and production of the game.

Chris Tremmel is the other co-creator of the original, and he has worked as designer and creative director for games such as The Two Towers and The White Council. He's overseeing design and creative direction.

This is a big one, working on the music is the one and only Grant Kickhope, someone I shouldn't have to introduce. He's worked on the soundtracks of the Banjo Kazooie games, among other RARE classics.

I'll pledge a little, because I liked the original. Also, the character is just the embodiment of immature humor, I love it.

That level concept art looks pretty sick. I like it.

This is the first kickstarter that I actually want to give money to, I loved the original game back in the day.

I really wanted the original game back in the day but my mum would never let me get it because apparantly it was "disgusting". That's why being a child is crap.

But now, I am a fully grown adult and i can do whatever the hell I want with my money, I may well contribute to this.

Oh my god yes. Boogerman was secretly the best game ever, I swear. Fun game with charming visuals with good, challenging gameplay. I'll back this if I can.

*action pose* "Booger~!" *flushes himself and telaports away*

Good lord, can't believe I still remember that scene.

Oops, not sure how I missed this topic! Didn't show up in the search...

Already backed this for a multitude of reasons; loved the original, Grant Kirkhope and of course...Earthworm Jim! It's probably the closest thing we'll get to a new Jim game for a while, so it's a no-brainer for me! tongue.png
