Sonic Lost World Wii U has the grooviest glitch imaginable

I was in the Casino level, and I was on one of the giant bumpers trying to get a second Red Ring, but then SOME HOW the screen just exploded in the world's most psychedelic way imaginable. Groovy.

Anyone else experience this? I was actually able to just pause and quit, it didn't freeze, first the framerate started chugging, but paused it really started almost flickering. Went back to the map and then redid the stage just fine.

I don't know if this is a bad sign, but it was an experience to be sure. O_o

FYI, I have the retail copy in NA if that makes a difference.

This happened to me once, when I was trying to get THAT STUPID RED RING AT THE TOP OF THE SECRET PINBALL TABLE FUCK YOU SONIC TEAM.

 

Anyway, you can just quit the level and it'll be fine so I just shrugged it off. I just wonder what causes it.

I actually did run into that yesterday but the screen went white. I thought I had to switch back to television gameplay but it still didn't do anything.

I only hate the second pinball section to get that one red ring.  That section can go FUCK ITSELF.

I just looked at it like one of those magic eye things... there is... amazingly a 3D image hidden there... it's not anything specific, but there is a 3D element to it.
