Status update glitch(?)

There seems to be a problem with the status updates, and I don't know if I am the only one experiencing it. When I try to update my status it will just idle and do nothing until I click the refresh button. I don't know if this is a problem with anything else or if this is just an aesthetics thing or what, but I have tried everything and it is starting to get annoying. I just wanted to bring this to someones attention just in case it isn't an Isolated incident.

I encounter a similar issue, with the site taking forever to load my status update. Then again, that's probably my net connection doing that.

Unless I am missing it completely, I no longer even have the option to do a status update.

 

Using firefox if that helps any.

Related: for some reason whenever I leave a response to someone's status, it posts it twice.

This problem also seems to happen whenever I make a regular post sometimes. It's pretty weird.
