Well thats awkward.  But still, Terminator 6?  Is this another soft reboot or a continuation from Genysis?

It is an soft reboot. The movie will be an sequel to the second one. It will ignore the last three movies.

Unless Dark Phoenix or New Mutants are delayed again and take up the slot Fox has nothing else far enough along to be done by then.

Or cancelled because of Disney.

I think it's going the Halloween route since the original Sarah Connor is in it.

Interesting.  Having seen Linda Hamilton in anything since the 90s.  Well then, I guess there is competition.

While it's cool to have her back in the franchise, I feel it's a case of "too little too late".

For me, the franchise has ended with Terminator 2. As they also envisioned it with that alternate ending they did for Terminator 2.

Since, the movie will set place in SF, I thought of making an picture of Tom, Sonic, and his friends visiting SF Chinatown. So I made it. It would cool and nice if we get an scene similar like this.

Not anytime soon. Way too early.

Maybe we'll see a Mina Mongoose concert poster or just scattered easter eggs from the Sonic franchise in general.

Well, Karl Bollers is probably a lot more reasonable than Penders, so it's a small possibility. Don't personally see it happening, though.

Made another one. This time, I made an picture of them visiting SF Japantown.:

I would love to see scenes of them visiting some of SF's famous places. I highly doubt, but it would be nice.

Wonder what would it will be like if Shadow appear and interact with Tom in the movie? So I drew this quick picture of them.

Interview with Jim Carrey..

https://www.etonline.com/how-acting-helps-jim-carrey-turn-his-pain-into-something-beautiful-exclusive-112499

The 56-year-old comedian also discussed pivoting from his acclaimed role as Jeff, a kids TV show host on Kidding, to Dr. Robotnik, the nefarious villain in the upcoming feature film adaptation of the video game Sonic the Hedgehog.

“I get to go from playing the nicest person in the world to the smartest person in the world who is completely not the nicest person in the world,” he explained. “So it's nice, it's very diverse!”

KIDDING is worth checking out.  If you like the surrealistic and ethereal cinematography of then youll enjoy it.  Heh, can you imagine a Sonic movie directed by him?

I hate to get political here, but.. I don't know guys. I loved Jim Carrey as a kid, (he's the PERFECT actor to be cast as Robotnik and news of him being involved with the film had me really excited back in June)

A Sonic movie was my childhood dream growing up, but Carrey's political rantings as of late are really making me want to boycott the whole darn film.

I won't post the tweet because the image features nudity, but basically Carrey told all Trump supporters they are going to hell for supporting him. (The same guy who claimed on Bill Maher that Republicans and Democrats should get together in peace. Hypocrite.) He endorses socialism (Well hey Jim, part of socialism is 'sharing the wealth' you willing to give up some of your hundreds of milions of dollars and send them my way?)

Look, I get it. He's entitled to have his political views, we all are, but I take his recent tweets as an attack on me and my values. I don't want to support a guy like that with my money. I don't know. I might just Redbox the Sonic movie when it releases on DVD or something.

Otherwise, I have no issues with the film going by what we know so far. (I've been one of the vocal minority who's been supporting the movie since it's announcement)

Oh well. Maybe they'll recast Robotnik in the sequel?

At least there's Ralph Breaks the Internet.

Hmm.. Just saw the tweet and I think Carrey is right. I don't wanna get political either but have you seen some of the things Donald Trump has done? Or what has transpired these last few weeks because of Trump? I am indeed leery of Trump and his supporters and if you have a problem with Jim telling the truth and you want to boycott the Sonic movie as a result, best of luck to ya, buddy.

I don't want to derail this thread into a political topic, I just wanted to state my opinion that, as a moviegoer, I personally do not want to financially support the box office of this film due to the actor's behavior on social media.

As I said before, everyone is entitled to their political opinions. You, me, Jim Carrey, everybody. (I myself have my own criticisms of Trump, but I also agree with him on a lot of other things) But Jim telling all his supporters they are going to hell crosses a line to me. I'm not giving my money to a guy who just spat in my face and attacked my values.

That's fine that you feel differently PeterPancake. You cool. Hope we can still get along.

I know this is a hot button for a lot of people. I don't want to cause a divide here with the post I just made, I just wanted to calmly air my opinion. This is all I am going to say on the subject. Carry on with any movie updates and such, you guys. Peace.

You're right. How silly of me. I should get it on Blu-Ray.

..Get it? BLUE Ray?

Yes, they still exist. It's a cheaper route than Blu-Ray, but that's what my collection consists of is DVD's like Ratchet & Clank, Jurassic World & Fallen Kingdom, etc.

It's VHS tapes that are no longer used for today's films.

People can lost their control when they are angry with something. Like, generalization is a really easy thing to do, cuz not everyone is a good person and not everyone is a evil person. But when someone in that amount of people says something asinine, they will blame everyone else too, is not right, I know. Jim probably thinks the same....

But people are tired of injustice and ignorance. Really tired. Even so that they say things that they shouldnt and contradicts with what they beileve in.... if those Jim tweets are the biggest problem to you in all of this, well more power to you.

Okay let's stop it right here, or else we are gonna get 2 pages of off topic.

Lets try to refrain from political discussions.  Its bad enough that its infected every social media platform I belong to.  I come to entertainment forums to escape that crap cause I have no allegiance on either side.  This is just another case of separating the art from the artist.
