Link confirmed for Ninja Gaiden 4 Wii U

I'm seriously hyped for this game. I immensely enjoyed Dynasty Warriors Gundam, so it's probably safe to say that this crossover will be just as good. Been waiting for some super stylish Zelda action shit for awhile now. All the possibilities of playable characters as well just make me excited as hell for this. 2014 is going to look like a goddamn good year.

This is a fucking great way to hold me over till the official Zelda game.

Sseriously, I love how agile and versatile Link is.

My only issue is that it might get a touch repetitive if your facing the same enemies over and over again.

Well, I was always hoping for a Legend of Zelda spinoff RPG, but this looks like a good alternate. I know nothing about Dynasty Warriors, but that looks AWESOME. Maybe a tad bit more on the toonish side than I'd like, but not nearly as bad as Skyward Sword or Wind Waker.

EDIT: Add a playable Zelda and it'd be even better.

Would Zelda work in the kindof hack-and-slash the game is seemingly going for? Then again Rosalina in SSB4.

I'm not a huge Zelda nut, nor a Dynasty Warriors one, but this feels pretty interesting. I should check it out.

Zelda's been a much more varied character over the years than Link has. Link's got some shoulder armour and a cape here, so I can't imagine it'd be too out of line to give Zelda a spear or something. She certainly makes more sense commanding an army than Link does~

Dunno who else they might add, though, if there actually are going to be more playable characters than just Link. Don't Dynasty Warriors games usually have tons?

Easily, I think, considering they've already shown the option to have Link go all magic warrior with the fire rod.

That's something that really interests me, actually; seeing weapons besides the sword and shield get upgraded to main weapon status. Since the fire rod's in, the ice rod has a chance...maybe the megaton hammer?

I think the Link in this game might be my favorite design for Link outside of Toon Link

It's pretty gorgeous, no denying. I love how bright his colours are.

Absolutely stoked for this; me and my uncle were hoping that the Monster Hunter team would actually get a shot with the Zelda series and make really deep and engaging uses of all the items across the franchise, but I think this could very well be the next best thing. Though...

... if that thing doesn't make it in now that there's a chance to bowl over entire hordes with it or even fly off bits of the landscape, my ass is going to be very sore.

also

moon as a boss

fought using the giant mask

If they're going to ignore time/ dimensions, like Warriors Orochi, then we could potentially have a lot more variety.

Even so, I'm struggling to think what Zelda characters can actually fight. Most if the fighting characters would also be villains- Vaati, Aghanim(?), Ghirahim, etc. It'd be cool to have Midna playable though. And maybe Majora's Mask/ Skull Kid?

At a guess, they'll make up a few characters based on the existing races, so I expect a Goron and a Zora of some kind.

YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!!!!!!!

I've only played one Dynasty Warriors game and that was years ago, and it's probably a series I should look into more as swathing through legions of soldiers is exactly my cup of tea. And now they're combining it with FREAKIN' ZELDA AND EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

I was planning on getting a Wii U soon anyways but now I have my killer app, right here!

I will buy 100 copies if the Link from this cape is the Link from the Skyward Sword manga prequel, the badass one that also wore a scarf.

Im loving the look of this so far, it seems to have a pretty intense focus on links fighting abilities and that scarf just makes him look dozens times cooler.

I really like the blue accents and the scarf. They just make the whole design for me.
