I thought it was implied that Sonic is the legal owner of the Tornado, but Tails is the only one who uses it. Also, I don't think either of them would be allowed to buy insurance anyway because they're underage.

0:24 Am I the only one who though the CGI Unleashed designs of Flo and her co-worker just looked....ugh?

That aside, I'm really surprised Sega actually allowed something like this. It's been ages since the last time they had Sonic star in a advertisement for another company. The Sonic 3 invincibility music combined with Sonic not uttering one word throughout the entire ad reminds of the 90s commercials with (classic) Sonic in them.

I'm not sure if it's so much SEGA allowing it, as it is another company FINALLY going to SEGA to feature Sonic in an ad. I can't imagine SEGA had to spend a lot, or anything at all. Sonic is a digital celebrity, and this ad does more to rope in teenagers who are starting to drive than it pushes a Sonic game.

I could be wrong, of course, but I think this is a case of a quirky insurance commercial wanting to use Sonic.

That......was priceless. That was a great ad, and the only Progressive ad to genuinely have me laughing! And it feels SO good to see him in T.V. again, feels like the 90's I never got to experience! To quote a wise man, "Hilarry Goldstiene, IGN: Sonic is back baby!"

And the reason he needs insurance? Well, the Tornado is technically his plane........

A bit odd to use a giant blue hedgehog that's a video game character as a way to advertise an insurance company, but..hey, it's still a pretty cool ad. I really like the fact that this means I might actually get to see Sonic on the TV again..given it's for something I don't think I'd ever be apart of but..it's still cool.
