Um, problem I have with that possible leak is that Nintendo keeps the direct in house till the last minute, so its unlikely they would give it to any loose links, so while some of that stuff could happen, I would mark it down to simply its plausible enough to be true than an actual leak, which is what that article is saying to me

Also Koopaling ins MK8?! I mean they have been around since the original MK, if they havent put them in by now getting in now is extremely unlikely, and thats one or the more supsicios parts of the article, the other being little mac, pretty sure they would want someone a little more iconic for the first direct of the year

Little Mac doesn't surprise me at all, but honestly, I suppose the timing here is the problem. Koopalings in MK8 doesn't make much sense, either. Not all of them. They're still better than Dry Bones, though...

Gonna agree, the Koopalings don't make too much sense, definately not all seven of them anyway. I can at least picture Wendy-O and one more Koopaling, but all 7 I kinda doubt.

 

However I can picture Kamek. Boom Boom and Pom Pom, while they haven't appeared too much, I can also picture, simply cause they actually come in a pair like the majority of characters were introduced in MKWii for example: DK and Funky, Baby Peach and Baby Daisy, Koopa troopa and Dry Bones, Bowser and Dry Bowser, etc.

 

Also I think Prof E.Gadd is long overdo.

Going off of what I've observed about Mario Kart rosters, the Koopalings could all sensibly be included, but they would have to be the only characters we don't know about, and they would come at the expense of more obvious characters like Diddy Kong and Bowser Jr.  Plausible, but atrociously unlikely.

 

Not that I expect anyone to care, I'm just trying to kill time.
