Steam Profile Link

The way the Steam thing is currently set up is so the hyperlink sends you to steamcommunity.com/id/whatever

 

But when I go to my profile on steam community, the url is http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198025916418. There's no "/id/" to be found

 

What do I do?

Well, it's working for me just fine, but I set up a custom ID. Maybe you need to do that? It's under Edit Profile>Custom URL.
