More specifically, he revealed a few things about the Lara-Su Chronicles during Comic-Con.

Aaand after that, we have Julie-Su's new... design... 

She has glasses and is a doctor now, oh, and she's colored orange. Soo yeah, she's not really Julie-Su anymore. 

He has also revealed his intentions to re-use pages from the M25L comics for his app, despite not legally owning them, save for altering the very last panel in order to transition the story from M25YL to LSC.

Looking back at that tweet... he has no interest in developing "that" world. If nothing came after Sonic 3, and I include (if not readily emphasize) Sonic & Knuckles in that, I'm sure he wouldn't have been happier.

Hell, there was barely and development of it at all. Sonic, Tails, Robotnik, and eventually Knuckles were effectively transplanted to another world that bore little resemblance to the one they were plucked from.

And incidentally, THAT world (His World... sorry (not sorry)) was the one I wanted to see developed. And while I'd come to like this new world, I never really got what I wanted until Flynn came along.

Even with the reboot cranking it up to 15, what Flynn did before that was more than enough for me.

Geoffrey...oh goodness, Geoffrey. Wuttuv dey done to ya, man? Also, that looks like the setup to a horrifying porno.

That Julie-Su actually looks good, though. Though the irony of her becoming a doctor and being orange now is not lost on me.

Not sure how to feel about that last thing, to be honest. All I can say is that I hope he's planned ahead in regards to the Chaotix and the other Sega cast.

He should have just focused on making and finishing the prequel or the main thing itself, not do random light "splashes" into each of them. If it was doing a series and had that choice, it think it would be wise to finish the prequel because it is small and "shows" what you are offering. Though i beleive maybe he wouldn't do that is because he himself is not sure of the so-called basis for the novel. (yeah i lot of people already beat me to that hypothesis)

I think the real irony is they still look like Sonic characters. Badly drawn, horribly designed, disgusting creatures, but they still have Sonic design choices that are a staple of that series. Even with the really godawful redesign of Remmington, he still looks like a Knuckles ripoff.

Irony would imply something unintended. The fact that they still look like SEGA Echidna that have been squeezed into a more human shaped mold is wholly intended, because as you know, Penders knows that the Sonic connection is the only thing he's got going for him. That it infringes upon SEGA's designs is to be overlooked either because he's hoping SEGA won't care enough about his idiotic project to take action (which is likely), or because he has deluded himself into thinking SEGA will still allow him to reprint his old Knuckles work so long as he cuts them in for a share of the profits. Or both, even. 

So yes, I wouldn't call it 'irony'. What I'd call it? Is pathetic and slimy.

Well, funny thing actually- initially, Julie-Su WAS pink, as is the norm...

And of course looked like a Sonic character still. Why the color shift, I have no idea- could be copyright, could be a vain attempt to differentiate the LSC incarnations of the characters from their time on Sonic, but point of order is, Penders decided THAT was the look he wanted to go with. His justification for Julie's rather radical shift was that he wanted to depict her as a 'working mom' instead of a 'party girl'. What prompted this and why is anybody's guess.

Plus the tv tropes states that he's partially for the SGW.

Additionally, this made New Mobotropolis vulnerable to both the Tails Doll and Naugus' magic. There's also the fact stealing the Chaos Emerald to begin with led to Sally's roboticization (and Silver's disaster as a result) by dividing the Freedom Fighters to where only Sonic and Sally could get in the Death Egg, and possibly the crossover which dragged Megaman and Blaze's world into the crossfire. As of 252 Naugus was stripped of his powers by the first Genesis Wave in the new timeline, further sealing the fact that after all his work Geoffrey's failure spans three universes and two histories. And now that we've learned the full effects of Eggman interfering with Sonic's Chaos Control in 251, see below, Geoffrey has played a role in multi-versal genocide. Not even The Venture Bros. takes its failure theme that far.
