How come? Most of the locked shit was maps and difficulties, it doesn't really take anything away.

 

Because some people like the challenge to unlock everything rather than having it handed to them, I guess.

If the game's weren't as old as they are, or had meaningful unlockables I'd agree but these things are ancient- why not let people play the rad missions straight away

I don't think the gamerscore is free- he was just pointing out that there's 1000g of cheevos per game
