I wouldn't be surprised if Germany put 8 passed Argentina in the final. Okay, Argentina made the right calls in the penalty shoot-out but other than that they were really ineffective, especially Messi. I can only see Germany winning.

EDIT: If Germany has to win so be it. But Argentina ain't Brazil nor is in the same situation that Brazil reached that match (That being their main player and captain/main defender out of the match) so it won't be as easy

Great, Holland lost in penalties...they were useless without Krul. I think they couldn't go for him again because they had already made three subs before extra time, so it was too late. ;-;

Still, I'm not as upset as I was back when they lost against Spain. There will be one more game to play against Brazil for third place (should be easy!) and I will be supporting Germany in the final against Argentina. Not only because the German team deserve to win that trophy after kicking Brazil's arse, but they have also played ten times better than the Argies!

Good job Holland, for making it this far in the World Cup. Let's hope you'll have better luck in the next Eurocup and the World Cup in Russia.

Wow that was stressing, but still kinda sad Holland lost, how come they didn't save a spot for Krul for the penalties, I'm pretty sure the result would be much different, maybe even a win for Holland. Ah well... well played Argentina, good luck against Germany, you'll need it.

To be fair, the foul for the penalty was outside the box. All the dodgy decisions that went their way early on are starting to bite back now (though Silva could easily have got a Red Card).
