Sorry for joining the party so late as I worked a 13-hour day today...Oh well, better late than never! 

 

WELCOME to the team Azookara, Ogilvie, and SuperLink! All 3 of you definitely deserve this! And I am certain you will get the hang of things in an instant and you will do just fine as well!

That's not "UH OH" Tara, that's GREAT! Don't you see?! That means we aren't "the" rookies of the Staff and we don't have to sleep on the floor anymore!  This is cause for celebration as we are moving up!

 

 

No, but seriously gentlemen, CONGRATULATIONS on your promotions and I really look forward to working with you all in the days, weeks, months, and hopefully years ahead. 

 

As for Sean, Pelly, and Wolfy, while it is sad and surreal to see you all no longer on the team, it was a pleasure working with you and getting to know you all during my beginning tenure as a mod here. I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work you've done over the years and also for your patience in dealing with me and my million questions that I have asked about modship and other things. You helped me in more ways than you will ever know, and I will always be grateful for that. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors and you will surely be missed by me and many others on the moderator side of things. Thank you all for everything.

I guess I just wanted to post in here since it is weird that I haven't really said anything (public) in response to becoming a mod, lol. 

 

But yeah. I'm glad I can be of service when I need be, and I promise I'll try to be the best mod I can be. Filling in the shoes of Sean, Wolfy and Pelly is gonna be some tough work, but I think that all of us working together can do just fine. I suppose I speak on behalf of SuperLink and Ogivle as well, since I'm sure they'll be just as good as I am on the job (if not better, hawhaw).

 

It's so strange being in this position though now.. in a good way, I mean. I've been on here for a long while (since 2005, yeezus, getting to be an old timer like the rest of the veterans and mods), but yeah. I promise I'll do my best for you guys!

It's kinda weird for me seeing Zooky on staff now, as I knew him, and worked with him for a little bit before I even got really involved here, but I've always seen him as a decent leader, and a level head, so I wish him the best of luck

I would've asked why Wolfy never got announced, but he kinda beat me too it.

 

Hmm, speaking personally for a second, these staff changes don't really affect my project much. I've already drawn a SuperLink toon and Azoo and Ogilvie was already planned anyway.

But it does sadden me to see good people having to leave an important position, I guess you have your reasons. It's not like your leaving us forever or anything, is it? Is it?!

I already congratulated the new mods via the statuses, so I want to thank Pelly and Sean for being fantastic mods, its hard to believe some of the last of the old guard is retiring and its going be weird seeing them both with red banners (unless Pelly gets her own special retirement group =p). There aren't gonna be many mods like you guys so thanks for staying for soo long and putting up with us (and me).

Hell of a run, enjoy your retirement.

EDIT: For those wondering, I didn't forget Wolfy I thanked him when he announced his retirement sometime back in the emotions topic(?).

Oh jeez, this means I've met an SSMB moderator in person. Congratulations guys! Every time a new set of mods is announced I always feel bad that I barely know any of them... maybe one of these days I'll be more active

 

And of course as everyone else said, a special thanks to now-retired moderators Wolfy, Sean, and Pelly. You guys did a lovely job keeping the boards clean. I wish you three the best in whatever you plan to do in the future.

This is pretty big. Thank you to the two leaving for all you've done, and I wholeheartedly congratulate and welcome the three new moderators (though, while all of you are lovely, I have a special place in my heart for Ogilvie. Congrats, dude. ^^)
