This topic has been discussed in the link below. This is a seperate page for this specific topic.

Just earlier today Capcom announced they were not renewing it's takeover defense. Anybody can now buy them out, should a third party company buy enough stock. This means anybody can purchase Capcom.

Discuss! Who should take Capcom? Is this a good idea?

(Oh hey, i'm back.)

Did this really need a new thread?

Whatever. I think some shitty leather company or something is going to merge with them or something/

As much as my inner fanboy wants to scream "Nintendo", I think having a 3rd party snatch up Capcom would be the best in the end - keeping things multiplatform and not alienating any of the audiences.

Nintendo should get Megaman. For one, before the Playstation era Megaman was mostly a Nintendo exclusive, and clearly they care quite a bit considering his treatment in Smash Bros. Or at least Sakuari cares, but he is part of Nintendo.

Or Inti Creates should get him because Inafunae but that'll never happen, sadly.

How much is it? I've got a few dollars, I think...

Anyway, I'm not too sure who should by Capcom. I just know I don't want it to be Microsoft.
