I bet next update each episode gives 1 and final episode gives 3, and character eggs get reduced to 0,00001% xD

But seriously,with Rappy and episode rewards nerfed, we are playing more to win less o.o, I prefer old roulette with normal eggs over this

I can deal with Rappy being nerfed, but those low red star ring rewards, buddies can't catch animals anymore, and the usual lag are just making the game more difficult, and over time this might be getting worse :/

They've re-established them as knowing each other though, it's possible that Sonic Generations became the canon reunion point (although Colours DS is also mentioned in this game, so maybe they re met prior to that).

I wouldn't even consider Generations canon (considering odd timeline shenans), nor Colors DS (portable take on the real thing). Of course, I'm sure this isn't canon either considering it's just a mobile freemium game, but it's not the pen game, it's the principle. :v

I not have a life at all and I can not even play the game because of lag. I not even have a computer. I think that I can confirm that this is officially a rich persons game since no poor person can ever play this game with 5 measly red rings per episode in my opinion.

 

Hmmmm.... Now shall we examine this to see if there's any truth to this claim? 

 

 

 

You have 1000 red rings, 13 continues, and over 100,000 rings, you also appear to have a chip companion so obviously you must have had some luck on the wheel. 

 

You are also repeating the final scenario, boiling point. But I would like to draw your attention to this persons rank for a moment. Rank 341.

 

I am at rank 100 and something, and I have played this game daily since launch and I'm also at 'boiling point.' 

 

 

 

Rank 300, 819 red rings, 400,000 rings. 15 continues.

 

That means in the space of 1 week you were able to beat 41 levels on Sonic runners, on the final stage where you have to get 10 million points to progress to the next stage. In total you scored, 410,000,000 points in 7 days, that is high enough to be in the global top 10. 

 

Note: Currently getting over the flu so my maths might not be 100% spot on.

 

Furthermore, 41 stages in the final level of Runners means you beat the final scenario a total of 8.2 times. That means you scored at least the following in red rings.

 

8 * 50 (final boss reward) = 400 Red rings.

 

So now lets subtract the final boss reward from 41, which gives us 33 normal stages completed.

 

33 * 10 (normal level completion reward) = 330 red rings.

 

400 + 330 = 730 red rings. however, this doesn't match up with your second screenshot, so you've spent a huge chunk of that on the wheel.... However all of this gets even more ridiculous when

 

 

Rank 176, so in the space of 8 days you ranked up over 100 levels? I won't do the maths... but considering the new time limit which was in place during this time period, the only way you could have done this was to score over 10 million on each go which would refill your lives and instantly put you into the next scenario/level.

 

Then you factor in all the rewards for ranking up that far on the final stage during the the pre release build... this is some serious red ring farming you've been doing...

 

However, even under the new reward system, you would have still received the following.

 

8 * 10 = 80 (final boss reward.

33 * 5 = 165 (normal level ranking) 

 

Total = 245. Whilst it's still a dramatic cut down, considering these values are based on your progress in under 1 week, that's still pretty good and it would still easily put you in the top 10, meaning you'd get tons of extra RSR from rank rewards, also considering how much you seem to have already spent in this game, you're almost certainly dong better with companions and their levels than you're letting on.

 

Is the cut down in rewards ridiculous? Yes, however this is like the richest man in the world complaining that the price of milk went up by 20p. Based on the stuff you've posted, you're actually doing pretty well on the game, so I really don't understand why you're saying it's unfair or too hard since you're clearly in the top 10 globally and have gained a huge level of red rings in the space of 1 week?

 

Now I'm just in the process of writing a review for this game, and I'll be mentioning how Sega have pretty much ruined this game and are robbing people for trying to get special characters, but there does come a limit when your complaints are justified, and I have to say, the evidence you've posted doesn't suggest that your complaints are valid since you're not doing anywhere near as bad as you claim.

I agree that the cut down on Red Star Rings is ridiculous but it's a free to play game, and more importantly, a SEGA free to play game. I thought that the leniency during the soft launch was too good to be true, and that somewhere down the line, this would happen. So all in all, I'm not terribly surprised. I'm still playing the game though as I find the core gameplay to be enjoyable, though I can't really be bothered to take it as a serious commitment, at least not now.

In regards to Classic Sonic, meh. If I get him then great I guess, if I don't get him then oh well.

The stuttering and crashes are just infuriating. And the constant need for a connection is mind-boggling. Sonic Team has gone back to sheer incompetence.

Seriously. I don't mind Silver, but I really don't want to be constantly reminded of Blaze's backstory snarl. They don't even have good chemistry. Blaze and Sonic, on the other hand...

Pretty lame that you'd have to download something else to be able to play a game that should be in the store. SEGA is nothing but fail these days :/

I think it might be luck, or just complete first timer antics, but having just installed the APK onto my Kindle and going through the tutorial, I get classic Sonic on the free spin.

I don't even know how that worked out. The game itself runs fine.
