i've been drawing too much Amy for some reason.. and now i wanted to draw Sally Acorn..

i missed drawing her a lot

this character really called my attention because of her ears so..

i tried to draw her ears differently from Blaze's.. just as Big has his unique ears.. so as ebony has her own unique ears (hehe i said too much the word "ears" XD)

first is Sonally (i called it as joke.. Per-Sonally)       and then its Sonamy (i called it Tsunami as a joke)

i've been a bit influenced by that Sonic archie comics classic style cover.. XD so i drew Classic Sonic crew as humans!!

highly influenced by 90's anime.. Sonic looking really Goku-ish (Vegeta-ish too XD) aahha well

A very unique way to make the styles of the original characters and your human incarnations feel consistent and a way to avoid looking generic at the same time.

ohh its been a while since i last posted something here...i haven't completed some drawings anyways XD

well recently i re-drew a panel from the recent archie comics issue as a pencil practice ..

i'm still not very good with backgrounds specially when there is buildings .. >:V ahhh! but this was just lazy practice...

i did not know exactly what emotion was Dulcy expresing on the last mini panel..   but i did something similar.. XD

 

also recently i updated some old redesigns i had..

 

there is a whole description for these.. i'm going to spoil it XD

well

SatAM:

Rotor Walrus: his past redesign i did.. it looked like too strong or inflated or too brawny....but since a time ago.. i realized that wasn't right at all.... so here i tried making him more curby..(besides in the old redesign i did, his tail  too long for some reason.. so i fixed that)
also i made his eyes look more slothful

Nicole: i did not changes

Sally Acorn: i tried working more the redesign i did long ago.. i felt like what i did was still a bit lazy.. and even i've been working on this one for moths now..  it doesn't really look like i make her too much... but with those little changes i think i like this one more now..
so i will stay with this one..
her hair is shorter, removed the tuffs or wisckers, different boots and a shirt over the black suit.

Bunnie Rabbot: well.... last design i did for her was too.. square.. and looked too heavy, i've never been very good designing machines.. so her robot parts were very difficult to come with...

so after many tries i came with this taking the SatAM shape as reference (kinda megaman-ish)...  in the black parts of her robotic limbs are with a sort of rubber or special flexible material.. so she can rotate her limbs (at the heigh of the knees and elbow) ,  inside of it are more metal parts like a skeleton. but its not visible.
the other parts colored in grey are actually metal and she is wearing a little white shirt over her pink suit
also i lovehow she look more chubby..

Antoine D'coolette : it was his face the thing that was more difficult to me.. because i didn't wanted him to look too much like Tails again.. like the one i did long ago.. so i tried making him head a bit more big, his ears more little and his muzzle more large.. his eyes more tiny too..and  his cheeks are based on the classic antoine from the TV show..

his outfit was kinda the same i did last time.. but more simplified and i tried doing something like those japanese student jackets, but without the buttons.. and also based a bit on Blaze's outfit..

Lupe the Wolf: ohh well this one its older.. but i came with it after the new archie one was revealed..
besides.. i saw how knockabiller made her look more wolf  based on Werehog features..


 and i think that it's pretty logic and super cool... so i made her ears look more pointy just like the Werehog , i based her vest in the new archie one.. her hands are a bit too big.. and her nails are visible.. i kinda still not sure about it.. but i like it more than the one i did long ago.. wich looked too much like blaze (i mean mine)

EDIT: now comparing her to Fockewulf.. i guess i'd need to keep the changes on her... specially on her nose... :/

AOSTH:

Agent Breezie : last design i did for her.. was a bit lazy too.. specially her head design.. i adapted it to look too much like Rouge.. and that's why i really like the Archie one.. they didn't made that same mistake i did with mine...

so this time i based her head and spike shape based on Archie one and the original one.. but i colored more blue on it.. and concerved her two eyes ...
(taking in consideration. if Sonic and other hedgehogs have one eye thing.. it means their eyes are just very close together, so i think there it can be hedgehogs with eyes separated too, just like other ones with long ears or tiny ears, long nose, short nose etc...more variety i guess.. just a little headcanon of mine)

Penelope the hedgehog: same thing too, separarated eyes and even keeping a bit her neck... wich its not very visible though... but well.. i did her a little poncho.. because the original seemed to have a necklance.. but it was too long.. XD 


Sonic Underground:

Cyrus the Lion:  last redesign i did to him.. i made him look feral, like that way he would look more cool and sega.. but i was really wrong!
 i mean this character did not suposed to be like that.. and just because its like that it doesn't mean he is cool.. i should had concerved more his escence as kinda nerdy character.. i stereotyped him because he is a lion and that's a mistake....
he is actually really cute the way he was.. so i fixed that up .. not many change though.. but he is more himself now

Lady Windermere: also not much changes.. except by that bandana thing i put on her head.. i though it looked cute and maybe better than that stick or "pepper shaker" looking thing on her head heheh

Tails' Skypatrol:

Carrotia the rabbit: well.. i actually liked my last redesign, i just wanted to give it a final touch...like more accurate stuff..
her ears are shorter, because that way we can see the hearts on them.. and a little overall just to simplify ...
(by the way.. i have a Skyline design for her X3 )

Fockewulf the Wolf:  not much changes than the last one but just as Lupe..(and also sleet) his ears are more pointy now.. i toke the dark blue fur from the Archie version because that's something i actually liked from it.. and i simplyfired his cheek fur,..

note: when i simplify some stuff..its because think to myself... i guess Sonic team characters have also very simple shapes sometimes..like not too many bangs, wiskers or too much fur so the 3d models will be easy to come with.. so recently i've been thinking on that to redesigning these XD

Bearenger its still not finished.. i think i haven't though much for him except that his species its going to be a Sloth bear (hindú bear) because in the sprite, his fur its black.. and sloth bears are black and have a pretty shape on their chests that would look nice on him..

 

some days later i tried re-design Jules the hedgehog 

 

all based on the robot face XD my little brother helped me with the spike design of the robot... and the non robot is based on the robot and i tried making him look a bit like a SWAT XD still doesn't convice me but i'm pretty happy with it..

also i did this

Antoine here receives secret love letters from  Bunnie XD

 

here i drew a reference thing from "Marty" , a Rockman X manga character.. i tried drawing her more X5 style..

 

since she belonged to a manga, its not very well known what color pallete was she.. so i based her colors on some fan art i've seen about her.. her tried doing her Boots similar to Marino's

 

ah and on an ocation i had to draw cute Eggman and Cute Sonic

Everything you posted is beautiful as always - I'll never not adore your redesigns. I'm so enamored with Jules, I've always had such a huge soft spot for his character but not cared for his character design...I'm just so impressed at how much you were able to keep of the old design while making it look amazing! He's perfect and I wanna hug 'im ^u^
