I suppose you tried to do this?

That's what I tried to do yes. EDIT: Still too small.

A couple of screenshots:

Also, list of packs:

  • Back to the Future level pack with a Marty McFly mini-figure

  • Lego Ninjago Team Pack with Kai and Cole mini-figures

  • Three Ninjago Fun Packs with Jay, Nya and Zane mini-figures

  • Two DC Comics Fun Packs with Wonder Woman and Cyborg mini-figures

  • Three Lord of the Rings Fun Packs with Gollum, Gimli and Legolas mini-figures

  • Four The Lego Movie Fun Packs with Emmet, Bad Cop, Benny and Unikitty mini-figures

  • Wizard of Oz Fun Pack with a Wicked Witch of the West mini-figures

Those two screenshots have made me pretty excited for the game, there's a lot of crazy crossover scenarios that could happen, I'll probably get the Lego Movie and Back To The Future kits first..

Also, a guy with a helmet is the bad guy?

Lord Business?

Do you think they'll be Marvel characters in this game? If this is the closest were getting to Marvel/DC crossover game Im perfectly fine with that, also who's that guy in the trailer I've seen him before and who voice's Gandalf?

The guy in the trailer is the very annoying Joel McHale.

@Dejimon11, No looks like all WC Ips, since they have the lego game rights, and it makes it super easy for them to do this

Also, I am very, very tempted as long as the wii-u version isn't nerfed... I'm also hoping/thinking that each character figure will in fact unlock a group of associated characters, and unlockable characters, and will justify this game in my eyes... also I want Bionicles in this!!

Well, there's going to be a regular Lego Avengers game coming out this year, so maybe, but Disney might block it off to keep them from competing with themselves, Star Wars is also noticeably absent.

No idea who's voicing Gandalf here but the guy in the trailer is Joel McHale, notable for The Soup and Community.

According to Toys R Us, the starter pack is $99.99.

When compared to a Skylanders/Disney Infinity normal starter pack price ($74.99) That's pretty damn expensive. It's as much as the Skylanders Swap Force/Trap Team Dark Edition Starter Packs.

Well, I'm hoping this doesn't shut down after 3 years like Universe did, but I'm skeptical because of the amount of licensed stuff in the game, and the fact that I'm worried it'll be another question of "can you grab all the studs". It's definitely looking a little bit Dragon Ball Xenoverse in that you control a character who goes to different places or points in time, changes something, and leaves, but I still wish that Universe's ideas of "not much licensed crap" carried over.

The UK price is £99.99, which is even more fucking expensive. I'm really not sure about this, the game itself is going to have to be really good to get me on board.

Yeah. Saw this. Gave it a look.

As much as I'm interested in LEGO, unless this can do something better than the rest, it'll be another thing I'm not interested in. And that price is just insane. Game have preorders up and it's £100! One hundred! So much for fair conversion of price.

As for Star Wars being absent, give it a week and loads of stuff'll be coming out of Celebration for it.

What I found ironic is that Skylanders game reviews describe it's gameplay as very Lego-esque with Diablo elements. It's funny because this is an actual LEGO game which is now rivaling Skylanders not only in toys but in terms of gameplay as well!

Man. I am so sick of this toy practice in video games. Not only are they overcharging for the game in pre orders and then I'm sure the figures will be overpriced like Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and Amiibo and if it takes off, you can be damn well sure there will be a Lego Dimensions 2.0 super turbo championship edition & Knuckles featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series. I'm just so sick of this practice where DLC is basically turned into overpriced toys, and it's going a step too far when it's done in a Lego game that usually contains at least 150 different characters.

Disney Infinity says hello. The unlock for getting every character in the first Infinity was the overpowered Lightsaber and in 2.0, the Landspeeder. 3.0 is so gonna have Star Wars, Disney wouldn't give it to Lego if they could do it themselves.

Well there are 269 Lego pieces in this set, and Lego toys are becomming more and more pricey these days, so i'm not surprised.

In theory I fucking love this idea because I can fly a Delorean as Batman around Barad-dur in a city. But I don't know what to make of this whole Skylander/Disney Infinity thing. I guess I'll just wait and see what the game itself is like. I mean it's not like the LEGO games have a bad track record.

here's a picture of the packs that are confirmed to come out

lego-dimensions-page3-package_1128x492.j

personally i'm hoping these pack stay around the 20$ and under price tag because if these are made out of real legos then

there's a chance I may get them at some point also no it is not just WB/DC themed worlds ninjago is showing up in the game

so chances are lego themed areas can show up in the future (I would love it if they got the rights to add a world based off

the lego universe game) anyways what i'm also hoping the minifigures can be taken off their stands (and replaced with other bricks)

because if anything it would be great to have these translucent stands for display uses

also here's a picture of who i'm assuming to be the villain of the game

Whose right is it what someone does with a license anyway? Is there strict guidelines saying what they can or cannot do? Because since LEGO own the Star Wars license to make LEGO merch related to Star Wars, you can bet they'll try and get Star Wars into this as best as they can. And considering LEGO Star Wars always sells the best, I can see Disney either trying to stop them, or at least trying to come to some workaround.

I really hope BIONICLE is in somehow. Not talking about having a pack but just appearing in the game in some shape or form.

That being said, seems expensive, but it's LEGO so it'll still sell like hotcakes. Maybe not the game itself but the packs will absolutely sell a lot.

And this is why we should be glad Sega have not done this... .. ... .. yet.
