Sonic is no stranger to comedy; especially since Sonic Boom started airing (sorry Comedy chimp, we're not talking about you).

But have you ever thought of any other video game franchises and what a "Sonic parody" version would be like?

When I say "Sonic parody" I mean taking a specific game or movie, having the Sonic characters take the roles and basically take the piss out of it.

Think of Belenaproductions' "Sonic in Jaws" as an example

Done that? Good, now I want you to imagine...

Sonic in Skyrim

Sonic in Star wars

Sonic in Dragonball Z

Sonic in Mortal Kombat

Sonic in Sonic the hedgehog

You get the basic idea, right?

Post what game or movie you think would make a good parody down bellow!

I did this cartoon years ago now, basically saying Sonic and the Secret Rings was Aladdin and Black Knight was Sword in the Stone (I know they aren't) so I made a cartoon poking fun at Sonic in Disney films. Enjoy.

Wait, you made that video? I remember seeing that back when it just came out.

As for Sonic Parodies, anything from the Sonic Paradox team is great.

Oh, and Hedgehog The Sonic, that never gets old:

Oh gosh, Hedgehog The Sonic. The most quotable parody since Sonic Zombies.

Speaking of which, Balena Production's Sonic Zombie videos are freaking gold in my opinion. This is coming from a Silver fan as well, despite the crap he gets.

My favorites are usually the ones @Roger_van_der_weide comes up with. His (insert Sonic game here) in (number) minutes parodys are pretty damn funny. My all time favorite?

and also I love these:

you rock man!

I think I'd like a parody of Sonic and Fallout. Even better, you could make plenty of stages out of any Fallout game's cities and locations.

I actually brought that series up with Roger on Skype during last October.  Fittingly I was playing through Shadow the Hedgehog as I had previously mentioned that it's as close to a Halloween/Zombocalypse Sonic game as we can get, and I even went far as to take snapshots of Shadow's confrontation with Abe Tower on the Neutral-Good path, considering what happens in pt. II (You killed my bullet!).  We even commented on how the stages that Shadow goes through in the flash is technically impossible.

This and Adventure in Brief are some of my favourites. There used to be a Heroes one, but I can't find it anymore. That used to be my favourite.

And pretty much others already mentioned.

I think it'd be funny to see what s3k would be like if it had the Boom versions of everyone instead of the regular ones. I mean, just imagine how many funny scenes there could be involving Sonic/Knuckles/Eggman.

Maybe it's revealed Knuckles hasn't actually been tricked and is just messing things up in a funny way every time he tries to help Sonic and Tails? How does Sonic react to things such as being crushed by that boulder in Lava Reef 2? Is Tails scared of the ghosts in Sandopolis Zone? How long will it take for Eggman to reach the Death Egg's technical support helpline?

There's a lot of situations in that game that could fit pretty well.

So I found this: knucklesjunior-sidekick.tumblr.com/post/136150093622/star-wars-and-sonic-pft-never

Also if you click on the never say never link it leads to a slightly different poster on deviantart.

and there was a flash movie on Sonic Cult that was essentially A New Hope but with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles attacking the Death Egg just after Amy sends Omochao to Mobius.  So it just jumps from Leia sending R2 to Trenchrunner.

Problem with Sonic is that the Official games are already going all over the place.
You got Micheal Bay movie esque Sonic adventure 2/ Shadow.
Then we have Mario Galaxy/Happy Tree friend esque Sonic Lost world.
Then all the way to Sonic hanging out at the Olympics and the Knights of the round table.
Not to mention Smash Bros and Sega all stars throwing Sonic into anything from Yoshi and Monkeyball to House of the dead and Metal Gear Solid.
The concept of Sonic characters in other places isn't super funny or weird anymore. At this point, Sonic fits pretty much everywhere.
So I don't really find "Sonic is in X franchise" a super funny concept by itself.

I suppose if you're That interested in the "Sonic cast in other franchises parody" concept, I could bring up my own really really Really old animated 80 minute epic, Sonic Movie Madness.
It's super old and I'm mostly embarresed by it now, but I suppose it has Team Sonic doing a Lord of the Rings thing, Team Dark hanging out at Hogwarts castle, Team Chaotix investigate Saving Private Ryan's battlefields and Team Rose doing a Star Wars thing.
It's most me just throwing in a million things at random and see what sticks.
From all the way back to 2004, Youtube version is all butchered for copyright reasons, so here's the original newgrounds links.
80 minutes of animation before I learned how drawing female bodyshapes works:
