The Best/Worst/Hardest Sonic Bosses

Since they're are new topics for the best and worst Sonic stages I decided to make one for the Best/Worst/Hardest Sonic Bosses. This topic is basically what the title says, just post your favorite/least favorite/ones that gave you the most trouble Sonic Bosses. Ok I love The Death Egg Robot in Sonic 2 and in Generations more in Sonic 2. First off I love how it looks like Dr. Robotnik. But when your trying to beat it as Knuckles its just a pain in the ass. My least favorite Sonic boss would have to be Silver in Sonic '06 I hate fighting this guy. Now that I know how to beat him he isn't so bad but my God SEGA make it a little harder why don't ya. The Silver fight in '06 also go in the bosses that gave me the most trouble along with the hardest Sonic boss I have ever played... PERFECT CHAOS OMG I can never beat this guy. In Generations he isn't so bad but in SA1 I just want to smash my controller on the floor until it brakes in a million pieces. I've only beaten him once maybe twice.

I always considered the Robotnik boss fight in Casino Night Zone to be one of the trickiest bosses I beat. First off, you can't hit him underneath due to the electricity running through the claw, and you have to build up momentum by running back and forth in the room to hit him. In doing so, you run the risk of getting hit by the little bombs he drops since it's very hard to stop when you are building up speed.

Best: I really like Perfect Chaos in SA1, it's very fun and quite challenging. It also great in Generations but slightly more annoying because of boost-limit.

Worst: either Iblis worm in 06 or Time Eater from Generations (home console). Both of them are just boring and drag on too long, in Iblis fight about 90% is waiting and in Time eater about same percent goes to just holding square button. And you need to fight Iblis twice, if you have played SA1, it's quite like Chaos 4 only much worse.

Hardest: probably Death Egg robot from Sonic 4. And one annoying thing: if you get game over, you need to do the whole boss rush again.

Worst: Character Battles - Sonic Adventure & Sonic Adventure 2

 

They are just so unbelievably easy, with absolutely no thought needed. All you have to do is spam a certain attack a few times and you'll have beaten each character battle in less than a minute. It's that easy.

Best: Egg Viper, Biolizard

Worst: Death Egg Robot, Silver ('06), Zor (3DS)

Hardest: Egg Viper, Biolizard, Death Egg Robot, Perfect Dark Gaia (HD), Sir. Percival, Sir. Lancelot Returns

Also if we count it as a boss, that fight against Amy and the hallucinated Sonic in Sonic Battle was an absolute nightmare.

-Best/Favorite: Perfect Chaos(Sonic Generations): I love this fight because of how freaking exhilarating it is. It's a brilliant combination of a traditional Sonic stage and a boss battle. 

-Worst: Iblis Worm: This boss is just a freaking waiting game, and you have to fight it twice!

-Hardest: Death Egg Robot: I've never beaten him, so that's sorta the default choice XD.

I don't know if they'd win any awards individually, but taken collectively, the selection of bosses in Sonic Rush Adventure was great; nearly all of them were designed with different gameplay approaches, so they all had a clear identity.  Rush Adventure really felt like the full package in terms of bosses.

-Best/Favorite: The Egg Dragoon (Sonic Unleashed): This is the only time I enjoyed playing as the Werehog. I just love the QTE where you absolutely destroy the robot.

Hardest: The first boss in Sonic 2 Game Gear: This boss is incredibly frustrating because in the GG version, the arena is much smaller than the Master System making it more likely that you'll get hit. Oh, and you don't get any rings because it wasn't difficult enough.

Worst: Dark Gaia: This boss is difficult because of how slow Chip moves, forcing you to take a bunch of hits before you actually reach Dark Gaia. Sonic's section doesn't fare any better because one mistake can be enough to make you run out of time and lose a life. And if you fail, you get to face the Egg Dragoon again!
