Adobe Flash Player Issues

As a Firefox users as well as an Adobe Flash Player, I'm annoyed at how I can't watch Blip TV/Channel Awesome videos at the moment even though Youtube videos run fine. Yet as of late Adobe has been having issues with security and Firefox has been blocking it and even Facebook has been calling the death of it over the weekend. Here's some news/sources on the issue:

So here are my questions: Should I just ignore the Firefox warnings and allow Adobe to run? Should I wait until Adobe release a new patch to download? If so, are there any Firefox compatible flash players to use?

I'll probably going to wait for the most part, but who knows if or when the situation will be fixed at this point.

Just update to the newest version of Flash, go into settings and turn it back on in Firefox. This is just corporate dick swinging more than it is a direct security threat to you specifically.

Adobe Flash IS an major security threat, but take it as you will, I use Flash because it's pretty much the only option available.

If you have a good antivirus you should be pretty good as long as you aren't dealing with a lot of money.
