Private SSMB Chat Gone Kaput After Pg.40

A private SSMB chat between me and several compatriots of mine here on this site is suffering terrible malfunctions. For unknown reasons, everytime we try to view posts beyond Page 40 of our chat, we get this:

 

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX1054

Yes, we can't even access our most recent page on the chat, and we've even had to move our base of operations. Are there any known fixes or at least knowledge of why our long running chat has suddenly gone on the fritz???

Probably a limit on the number of replies per PM convo.

Or someone hit their capacity in PMs.

But I suspect it's a cap on replies.

We've had other members report problems with the PM system since the update as well.  I think it's still being looked into.

A maximum reply cap should't prevent participants from viewing the conversation, so I don't think that's it.

I'm afraid that wouldn't  make a lick  of sense,  since it's affecting  pages that were already made well after page 40 to begin with.
