Oh hi! Didn't see you there! I'm just busy making my little showcase for you all. The bad thing is that I'm at my "best" when using actual pen and paper. The problem is, those pictures come out like crap when I scan them. So until I find a good solution for that, I'm forced to use my tablet to make "art" to showcase. Since I'm using my tablet, I'm not used to coloring or shading on it, so please excuse the lack of those crucial elements for now. With that outta the way, let's begin!

 

Now I know what you're thinking:

"The heck is that? It looks like a mix of an M&M and this:"

 

Well, yeah it does. Anyway, if you've been following the SSMB Crossing RP, all 3 of you, this character may seem somewhat familiar. This is the Sonic that Sayaka and the other heroes work with. I'll deal with bios later since his story is different from other incarnations of Sonic.

In the RP, it is revealed that this Sonic is a fan-character. He obviously is MY fan-version of Sonic and he actually was first drawn at around 2005, and he looked even simpler than he does now. It only makes sense that the design of a fan-character should resemble an infamous fan-creation with the "Gotta Go Fast" Sonic above me, so I decided to keep his design that simple.

(Plus, I can't seem to pull off a more complex design.)

Anyway, enough with the history lesson. Here's more pics.

Because I'm Failinhearts, you would know that something or someone is missing. A certain girl with blue hair, gold hairpins and a fascination with classical music...

Of course I'll draw Sayaka! Now, drawing humans isn't my forte, on pencil and paper or on tablet but hey, it's the best I can do.

What else can I say? I was in a Doctor Who mood.

This is just a small dump of Sonic expressions.

This is an SSMB Crossing: Plus based picture. It's showing off characters from the RP that were created by users on this board. (And to put Jessica on something because there wasn't enough room on the SSMB group photo to add her in, sorry Spin Attaxx!)

Here's a little passage I wrote regarding the stories of these characters:

 

When danger strikes in the world of SSMB Crossing, many heroes will answer the call. Several of which are unknown to many people of the real world. They are called: Original Characters/Fan Characters. Some are known by writers and held in high regard, some are forgotten and hated by the real world. These heroes know not of their real world origin, instead they fight to save the worlds they visit. In this village, 5 of the heroes work together with other heroes of fictional history. Two are animals with special powers, with a family that's that last of their kind. One is a sorceress with tons of magical potential, with an animal sidekick. One has a mysterious origin with a somewhat lost memory, and she has helped save the world many times. Not all of these people are heroes, though. One is a sadistic, power-hungry psychopath with a thirst for murder. He and his army has exterminated races, enslaved many and has set his sight on many more fictional worlds, and ours. With this threat, and many more looming, these heroes will prove that you don't have to be official to save the fictional realm!

So as you may or may not know, @Spin Attaxx has gone through some crap. It has affected him and it has affected me. I wanted to do something to cheer him up, even at the slightest, so I decided to draw something. After several attempts of trying to make Jessica look viewable (because I suck at drawing) I managed to finish it! Hope you enjoy it, Spin!

D'aww, thanks! I'm still sorry my situation's affected you so deeply, but I really appreciate this! These two look so cute together.

And as an aside, you can get better at drawing, so don't say you suck at it. There's plenty of artists on here who can help you get better (like JezMM, Inferno etc.), all you have to do is ask. I'm sure they'll give you some friendly advice, and above all, just keep practicing! You won't "suck" at drawing!

Well, it appears I drew a much bigger picture, so excuse the dodgier camera work.

Anyway, I decided to name this little piece of angst: "Outcasted."

He knew them, he fought alongside them, he is them. However, Sonic knew something was off. How he looks, how he acts, his entire being didn't feel like Sonic. In his world, he was never called "The Blue Blur" or "The Fastest Thing Alive". He was called "Sentinel", "Leader", or "A Big Blue M&M With Spines."

Sometimes when all alone, Sonic ponders about himself. Why is he so different? Who wrote him? He doesn't know the truth, but he wants to know.

Is he Sonic The Hedgehog, or is he someone else?

(A little fact, the primative looking pictures of Sonic on the top are actually old designs of him when I was a kid.)

It first started out as me wanting to draw some new characters, now it's become a little project of mine that I hope I complete.

Every day until Christmas Eve, I'll try to draw a character who represents a certain friend of mine on this board. I choose randomly on who's next and I get drawing! If I can't do it once a day, I'll try to at least get 24 done by Christmas Eve!

Let's kick things off with everyone's favorite "wonderful magic user" AND the only character so far to be played by two people in one RP, Amitie! This picture is dedicated to @SurrealBrain! I even added a little Carbuncle!

Who's next? Guess we'll find out tomorrow! I'll tell you this, though: He may or may not be a part of the same series!

Time for our next character, guys! Since I was still in the mood for drawing Puyo Puyo characters, I decided to draw Sig for @I'm Dan! Hope you like it!

Sorry there wasn't a new picture on Friday, I was sick and unable to draw. To compensate, here's two pictures!

"Fuel the fire!" This one goes out to @Falonso14! He's a big fan of racing, so I decided to have represent him with a Skylander that's all about racing! Here's Spitfire and his signature vehicle: Hot Streak!

"Ready, set, glow!" This picture of another Skylander is for @Osmium! Meet the Astronaut SuperCharger, Astroblast! This picture also contains his signature vehicle: Sun Runner!

Time for an update! In order to comply with the rules of no double posting before 3 days, each post will contain 3 days worth of pictures! Without further ado, here we go!

We're going into OC territory, and it was a ton of fun drawing these three!

Let's get the fire started with Day 6! Literally, she has pyrokinesis! Here's BFZ, @Candy Cane Matrix's OC made for SSMB Crossing!  I had fun drawing the elemental effects on this specific picture!

Our favorite Sorceress Of The Stars is next! Jessica, @Spin Attaxx's OC is here for Day 7! I decided to make her in a more casual pose, not displaying any magical powers like I did the first two times I drew her. Thought I'd make something different this time!

Last but not least, it's Locke for @Galabance! I was gonna use his unique design for SSMB Crossing, but due to me being unable to see what he looks like at the bottom, only having a view of him from the chest-up, I decided to use his traditional look! Nevertheless, I had a lot of fun drawing him! He's the character for Day 8!

Next time, we're firing up the TARDIS!

Big update time! Day 9 to Day 12 was completely devoted to Doctor Who!

Time for a "fantastic" start! First up is the Ninth Doctor, who was played by Christopher Eccleston! This picture goes out to @C.J! I tried to use a different style for these guys, going for a face similar to the "Doctor Puppet" web series.

What comes after 9? 10, silly! Day 10's picture is the Tenth Doctor played by David Tennant! This is for... well, @The Tenth Doctor! Allons-y! 

Matt Smith time! Here's the Eleventh Doctor for @The Eleventh Doctor, complete with his bowtie and fez! Geronimo!

Lastly, we have Peter Capaldi: The Twelfth Doctor! This one is based off his design in Lego Dimensions! There's even K-9 and a Cyberman! This is for @Doctor MK! "Come on, don't just sit there! You've got a bunch of monsters to meet!"

"All living things kneel before your master!" The first official Sonic character in the Christmas Countdown is here: Metal Sonic for @Forte-Mistletallix!

Boy genius meets the last Tech Sentinel! Two versions of Tails The Fox is here for day 14! We have modern Tails, complete with the Miles Electric, and Sentinel Tails with his DEUS and Electro-Wrench! This one is for @Kiah!

Lastly, for Day 15, the day of the final Smash Broadcast, @Felix gets his time to shine! His main: King Dedede is here to "clobbah" the competition!

Days 16, 17 and 18 have arrived!

Day 16: For @BountyHunterSilverFett, it's two Silvers! Hedgehog of the future meets Sentinel of the past! What makes this picture special is that this is the first SSMB appearance of Sentinel Silver!

Day 17: Wahoo! For @Kurisumasu no Klonoa, it's Klonoa himself! This is my second time drawing him, and I can say it really improved from last time!

Day 18: The commemorate the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and the release of the Disney Infinity figures based on the movie, here's Kylo Ren! This goes out to my fellow Infiniteer, @Tom DeLonge!
