Cannot Create Status Update

How can i create a Status Update, my account can't seem to do that.  Is there a certain amount of posts, you need before you access this feature ?

Can you describe the problem in more detail?  Namely by answering these questions-

1) Is the status update field visible to you?

2) When you click "Create" in the top, right corner next to your notifications, PM inbox, and profile options, what options show up?

3) Do you get any error messages, if so what kind?

It seems that IB has a restriction on new accounts for the status update system, but I'm not sure what. There are no options besides toggles; new accounts will either have a set duration of time before they can or it could be tied to post count.

At any rate, I've enabled them for your account.
