Is there really no way to make the game work on Win8.1?

I've already been searching for possible solutions, to no avail... If there's any way to make it work, I would much appreciate it, since it's at the moment the only PC Sonic game I can't play on Win8.1.

Thanks in advance.

What's your computer specs? I've generally been able to handle a ton of games, including games dating back to Windows 95 on the thing.

Moved to Green Hill Zone since it's about a Sonic game.

Try to run in compatibility mode with Windows 7 or XP. Check the game options, try make some changes. And verify if the game recognize your Video Card. If don't works, try to reinstall it.
