Good afternoon. My Name is Richard Folorunso. I am fifteen years old, and a first year student in secondary school. My place of work is at JCPenney as a customer service specialist.


I decide to join Sonic Stadium, so I might feel a sense of belonging around other Sega fans alike.To find somewhere in which I would not be judged for liking a fictional character that is marketed towards children. I am planning to contribute to the community with my knowledge and impetus for programming. Despite the fact that my understanding is extremely low for my age, and in comparison to others on this forum my skills are amateur at best. I still continue practicing to the best of my abilities every day. I have been designing games on the Game Maker platform for nearly eight years. Although I did not start in the Game Maker Language until I was about eleven. I intend to leave GML and continue to learn C after Act two of Sage 2014.


I aspire to attend DigiPen University after completing my high school education. If I can make it I would like to specialize in Computer Science to get a master's degree. Then have an occupation that will allow me to create games for companies that I have enjoyed when I was younger. If I can join Sonic Stadium I can obtain information about the people whose walking or have already walked down the same route I wish to. Thank You once again for reading. Have a good day.

Hello everyone, I'm Ionitron, or you can also call me Melru. I have been on this site before under a different username, kinda forgot it and whatnot. I do lurk, though, lol. 

 

I used to be an active member on the SEGA forums "back in the day" (Jeez, like 6 years ago), and admittedly without my experience there I wouldn't be as versed in video games and stuff as I am today. I like Sonic, although I'm not a diehard Sonic fan- But I will always have a soft spot for the guy and the Sonic community is one that I feel at least slightly spirited in haha. I am a huge Nintendo fan over anything, and the hype for Smash is my life. I also love animation and cartoons + the occasional anime. 

 

I like drawing, I'm starting to upload my stuff on my tumblr account. Hope to make some buddies. =)

First of all, I would like to say to the whole community that: I'm sorry.

 

I'm Salem, I actually signed on this site about a year ago but posted nothing. I was just REALLY busy with a lot of things that I guess I didn't have time to do things that I like. Why did I decide to join? Well I find it funny that I'm a Sonic fan, and yet have never EVER been a part of any community (I joined Sonic Paradox, but I forgot my password and I only posted like two things SO DON'T TELL THEM!), So I would to see what being a part of the Sonic community is like.

 

So Sonic the Hedgehog, I've been a fan of his for the longest time now, he was also what introduced me to video games in general. Did I own a Genesis? No. Did I own a Saturn by any chance? No. Or perhaps I had a Dreamcast? Well, no. Believe it or no I never owned any SEGA consoles, so how did I ever play Sonic the Hedgehog? Well, PC. The very first Sonic game I ever played was Sonic 3 & Knuckles, which I consider to be the best Sonic game of ALL time. After that, the second Sonic game I ever played was Sonic CD, which was also awesome. So that's my tiny story of my experience with the Sonic games.

 

Now as a kid born in the late 90s, it's kind of funny how I grew up with 80s-90s TV show. I thank my brother and sister for that, because without them I wouldn't have known about Batman, or TMNT and so on. I friggin' love Tom & Jerry, as well as the Looney Tunes, they just never stop being funny.

 

So that's a some vague info about me. Once again, I'm sorry.

I was sent here by a collector because I was looking to collect stuff Sonic Merchandise. However, even after I get the post amount, I will do my best to be active in forum posts. I hope to be active in this community since I absolutely love Sonic the Hedgehog and his companions.

 

My first game was SA1 on dreamcast, and my grandma used to read me the way older archie comics before bed.  I grew up with two parents who were, and still are, gamers.  So, I've grown up being an old school gamer nerd.

My favourite Era is Adventure, and i would like Sonic retourns in that way and be less comedy like in Colours or Lost World.

Hello World ! (geez, some kind of pseudo-nerdy introduction, i'm becoming worst everyday)

 

I'm Kazhnuz, a proud explorer of the interwebz, who discovered the Sonic licence being small with AOSTH and SATAM, and who many years after rediscovered it with the french Sonic X dub (which wasn't 4Kidsed) and Sonic Heroes. And after that, I tried and played nearly all games, and I discovered the fandom and it's creativity (with Sonic GX, I think I played it many times). I try to not position myself betweed "oldschool era", "adventure era" and "unleashed era", because I'm interested in the licence as a whole (even if I've game I prefer, and games that I'm not fond of). I'm not good in english, I play old PC RPG that bore everybodies, I use RSS and other old tools, I prefer command line to GUI, I'm 21, I like kitty and butterfly and I've a serious case of intoxication to forum. Those information weren't usefull. This one too.

 

What I like with the Sonic franchise is that it that there is games for every tastes in it, and I also like the diversity of the fancreation, especially in fangame, with the Lakefeperd games, the Nebulous games, Sonic CB, the Green Hills Paradise Map for Sonic GDK... My favorite media is the comics, especially in his Ian Flynn days, and I don't mind the Super Genesis Wave.

Welcome to SSMB where the main topic is the blue blur himself and there are a variety of other topics though there might be some caution that should be exercised here.  Last week there were sounds of wallets being stolen by our PC Gaming Lord and Savior Gaben due to the Summer Sale going on during that time in the Computer Gaming forum.  Also there are have been reports of someone using the Chaos Emeralds to fight against a monster of the week.

Yes this years summer sale was a bit disappointing and I do admit it as most of the games on there I purchased during the winter sale of 2013.  Plus you are correct in the regards to the Blue Blur himself.  Just be careful of him as he tends to wreck everything he comes into contact with.  Lost quite a few robots as a result of that.
