Yeah, it is a little underwhelming compared to other events like this.

It's lasting and unusual amount of time though, so maybe they'll have more surprises later on.

Jun probably made the food in those pics lol. More pics, are they selling soap shoes Sonic again? The plushes have different tags on them.

I'm not sure, the pic is described as display along with the 20th anniversary statue. I'm sure we'll find out eventually though.

To people in the west? there's mostly tons of sonic-stuff like that over here.  a lot of fans here, or a lot of people whom are into vidya, buy sonic plushies all the time (though, compared to others, i didn't buy one until this year because i'm poor >.> )

To people in japan, mostly because japan people is said to be not an fan of the franchise? i wouldn't say that. (despite otherwise) i seen people in japanese media that have sonic plushies and stuff, i actually came across a vid on youtube that had a sonic plushie in a house supposedly haunted by an zashiki warashi (and if anyone knows what i'm talking about, i'm not referring to the sexy light-novel kind) as such,  i wouldn't be surprised if the woman in my avatar has one in her house (or her _______ _______ has some)

Eh, you got a good point there.

I still hope there's a way for me to get them, though. They look alot better than most Sonic plushes I saw.

They're SA2 Ufo Catcher plushes from way back in 2001, which are quite rare worth $500+ each.

Doubt they will be sold, they are worth too much to sell.

I think that Shadow render is new, the one next to Metal Sonic. He may be pulling a similar pose to his ASR pose but he is at a different angle.

There's a lottery right now going on if you buy Sonic Boom Fire and Ice. One of the prizes is a compilation cd of the music playing in the cafe.

Well, turns out there's a bit more celebration than we thought. SEGA have collaborated with another place to host a Sonic cafe between December 1st and December 16th...and the food is different too!

Food looks yummy, except for that shadow burger ( gross). Too bad I live far away from japan and have very little money to go there. Oh well~
