Somewhere in the Skylands, a new portal opens...

Out steps what so appears to be a young girl. She looks around, thinking aloud.

"Hmm... A nice looking place... May do quite well for me! I like it, so far!"

She pulls out her sceptre, closing the portal with it. "Now, time for phase one: Get familiar with the place. I mean, I don't want some bad world, do I?"

"Ah... Time for this world to learn the name of Queen Piper! Just like the other worlds. Sigh, this'll be a bore... And a bit of fun! I dunno. Meh."

She smiles mischieviously, giggling. It was time to make new allies, and new enemies, and take this world for herself.

"I'm sorry, Kirumi. But this is something I just can't ignore..."

"More of us are alive! Perhaps even all of us! I have to find them!"

"See Nicole, back in the day when I first met Undyne, she was kinda actually trying to kill me. Honorably and with justice of course! See, I'd fallen from a hole on Mount Ebbot.", Frisk reminisced.

"I won't go into the whole venture but, well, y'know Undyne and Mettaton who you met during the Killing Games, right? Even the skeleton Papyrus as well as his brother, sans @Emperor Robrainiac? Well, see back then, they were all stuck underground after a war years ago with humans that left them sealed underground for eons. Well apparently the break the barrier, they needed 7 human souls, and well, by the time I fell, I was the seventh to be....ahem well, killed and soul-harvested."

"But you refused, huh. Didn't you partner?", the voice within Frisk's head japed.

Fighting to ignore it, Frisk continued on.

"So yeah, see. At the time it was customary for most monsters as they called themselves to hunt for humans. Papyrus and  sans were thankfully.....more friendly from the start, though that didn't stop Paps from trying to capture me and battling me. Undyne and Mettaton though were, how shall we put it, tougher bosses. See, Undyne was Captain of the Royal Guard from back then".

"I'll admit though. I'm thinking of making a new AboveGround Royal Guard. Yeah, I retired at first, but coming here, I realize that maybe I owe Paps an actual Royal Guard position. Heh, can't blame me for being worried for his safety back then.....but he's certainly proven himself even in spite of my worries!", Undyne said proudly.

"But yeah Nicole, as you can imagine, being captain of the Royal Guard, I was kinda, well, the champion heroine serving under King Asgore. And well, as far as we all knew then, what was best for all of monster-kind to survive in the long run was to get the souls of humans....who we hadn't had the best of history with. ANd well, when he entered in my home domain of Waterfall, let's just say,

"I was one of those....deadly silent and efficient types......at first anyway!", Undyne said knowing the crucial details to come.

"Oh but that's not all of course!", Frisk piped up.

As the Hope's Peak Ultimates settle their issues, Sonic and Sayaka leave the medbay to relax.

"Hey, you wanna see something cool in the back of Tails' workshop?" Sonic asks.

Sayaka shrugs. "I... guess? Why?"

"There's some stuff in there I didn't expect Tails to have. Stuff that makes me feel... nostalgic, you could say." Sonic explains with a grin.

Nicole just smiles at them. "Oh, please, you don't need to tell me everything. But, for a child of your age, you must have had the adventure of a lifetime!"

Nicole starts to walk out, pointing out, "I've still got to take care of someone, so... Maybe another time?"

Sonic walks to Tails' workshop. "Hey, Tails. We're gonna check the back. You cool with it?"

"Wait... the back?! " Tails turns away from his latest project and flails his arms. "H-How do you know about the-"

"While looking for my sword back at that party, I checked there. I was so fast you probably didn't see me." Sonic explains.

Tails stammers, sweating profusely. "W-Well... ummm... uhh..." He eyes the door to the back room.

"YES! I AGREE! AND-", Undyne said hoping to get out of the woods.

"Well, I should tell you that even when she had me cornered, she was kind enough to give me a spear to defend myself!", Frisk said much to Undyne's embarrassment.

 

"And while she fought hard, she didn't accept my Mercy unlike the others right away."

"And wouldn't you know? I won the fight by running, and running, right into...."

"Hotland, the accursed place!", Undyne finished Frisk's sentene off remembering all too well.

"Yeah see, a fish in metal with conudctive heat...not a good mix. I was literally cooking there having passed out from the heat! I thought I was done for....and then the impossible happened.

"The human....actually spared me and saved me despite what I'd tried to do".

 

 

 

"Needless to say, it was the start of a keen friendship....that still took a lot of work, but yeah, that's what's best known for now Nicole!", Frisk said as they followed out the room.

"Now maybe you and Undyne can get along with each a bit better now!", the child said beaming as he reminisced the days when Undyne swore she'd never be friends with the likes of him, before the turning point had taken hold.

"H-Hang on, now! Let's not be hast-" Tails' pleas were in vain though as Sonic kicks the back door open.

"Open SESAME!" Sonic exclaims as the door bursts open to reveal a hallway lined with shelves upon shelves of old devices, clean and dust free, as if someone's been tending to them. "Believe it or not, not even Kirumi knows about this place, so Tails looks like has been cleaning it frequently."

"Old black and white TVs? VCRs?" Sayaka says as she walks down the hallway inside. She holds up a large machine. "Laserdisc players?"

"Tails, I thought you liked everything advanced? What's with all of this outdated tech?"

"AH, THE NOSTALGIA." Papyrus said as he walked into the room wipe a tear away. "SUCH A MEMORABLE AND PIVOTAL TIME IN OUR LIVES, WASN'T IT SANS?"

"you said it bro." sans said, following behind his brother, "we still owe you one, kid. you really made our lives better!"

sans really had an admiration for Frisk. After all, he was the one responsable for helping them leave the underground. However, there was something that still bothered the stout skeleton.

sans sensed something bothering Frisk, and that sense was very familiar... From another timeline and another place, sans had the feeling he knew what it was.

But at the moment, the skeleton in blue decided to ignore it. He trusted Frisk enough to not give in to that dark force.

"but yeah, we owe you one. heck, i'll even lend you a hand if you need one."

With that said, sans pulled off his left hand and offered it to Frisk.

"UGH, SANS." Papyrus facepalmed.

"ah don't worry about it bro." sans held up his right hand, "i'm all right now."

"SAAAAANS!!!!" Papyrus groaned even louder more annoyed.

 

[Agie]

Amitie and Sig find Lupin. "You wanna try going to Danny's world this time, Lupin?" Asked Amitie.

"Oh, you bet! In fact, I still have that bag all ready to go!" Said Lupin. "So when are we going?"

"Soon, I hope." Said Sig. "Though Amitie told me Raffunny might be coming along...?"

"You mean Snobby?" Asked Lupin. "Ah well. The more the merrier."

[Failinhearts]

"Okay, fine. Finefinefinefinefine." Tails walks in, repeating the same word over and over.

Sayaka looks at Tails in confusion, scratching her head.

"As a weapons specialist, I love my high tech gadgets. And I still do... but when it comes to non-weapon stuff... I guess I'm just fond of old retro devices. So I collect old players, TVs, consoles, stuff like that." Tails says, patting an old CRT Television.

"It... makes sense. You guys did live in eras like the 80s once, right? Guess this is where your nostalgia is?" Sayaka says, still looking around.

Tails sighs. "Yeah. Strange coming from me, but I sometimes miss the days where things felt simpler."

"Oh? You think she's suffering with memory loss or conflicting memories?", Frisk asked as he caught up with Sonic.

"Well either way, man would this English woman named Darklaw, that I know, be another empathetic soul", Phoenix said as Sonic, Undyne, Frisk, and Trucy were entering the medbay, having overheard them.

 

"Shame that echo flowers aren't really a thing here above ground like back home. If they were a thing, I'm certain that the whispers in there would've some clues for the poor girl", Undyne remarked.

"Yes, they're........quite informative", Frisk agreed.

"Well here's just hoping that a certain evil memory posing as a genie didn't steal or warp her memories! Ugh, the last thing I need is Holly back out and about!", Shantae spoke up, remembering her old adversary all too well!

"Well Nick, I'm surprised you yourself don't volunteer, considering your history of getting amnesia!"

"Maya, those are usually strictly and temporarily caused by physical trauma."

"Besides, one of the few times it wasn't, you lost your memory too, if you'll recall!"

"URK!

Ummm, details Nick! Details!"

Kirby is digging through the drawers of his room, trying to find a secure place to store the Galaxia copy for later.

I can't just leave it out in the open! This place has a habit for being infiltrated by villains, and if one of them takes the thing we could be in big trouble!

Unfortunately, there's not really a good spot to hide things in Kirby's room, as it's based off of his own house where danger almost never comes near.

"Wait one minute, the vault's probably a good spot!"

Kirby heads back to the conference room and picks up the Galaxia copy that he left there previously. Then he dashes over to the vault, only to remember,

"Oh wait, the vault can only be opened with permission from one of the leaders.... I guess I'll have to look elsewhere....."

Kirby starts to look around the Academy for usable safe storage spot instead.

Somehow by sheer determination Sarge managed to climb the full set of stairs while being half blind and wheezy the whole way through. Where he was going however remained a mystery since he himself didn't really have a clue to where he was going.

He continued to stagger about venturing a bit too close to the guardrail on the top floor...

Neptune comes into the back room of Tails' workshop, sniffing. "I... smell... old game consoles."

"Show me. NOW." Before anyone could react, Neptune runs over to the left shelf. "Oh, no way! Issat a working Laseractive, COMPLETE with the Sega Pac? DUDE, Tails! Why didn't you tell me you have this?! No way, an N64DD North American Prototype! How many dumpsters did you dig through to find this?! Oh wow! It's a-"

"She's gonna be here a while..." Sonic chuckles as Tails runs after her.

"Wait! Neptune, that's delicate! Don't touch without gloves you... agh! You got pudding all over the-hey!"

"Sarge! Just the grouchy yet lovable leader we all know...we've been looking for you." Ember pouted. She had been following Sarge up the stairs it seemed and was keeping an eye on him.

"Pinky?" Sarge grunted, wobbling about.

"Do you even know where you are?" Ember asked.

Sarged squinted. "I don't know..."

That alone was enough for Ember to use her levitating spell on Sarge and bring him straight down to the ground. "There is now no way Yaya's fancy armour is going to work on you now..." Ember sighs.

"What fancy armour?" Sarge wheezes. That got his attention...

Raffina is still contemplating what she can do. She knows Amitie could use help. But what would Danny want when she doesn't even know the guy?

She's really only considering it for Amitie's sake. But she's gonna claim she'll do it to shop for herself.

She bumps into Sarge, who looks horrible! "Eww, why are you on the floor like that?!"

"Um, hello, he's sick and was trying to find his way around till he fell, dah!" Ember rolled her eyes. If there was one thing Ember could be rarely outshined it was girly sarcasm.

Sarge got up, he practically ignored Raffina's presence. Didn't really feel like dealing with one 'girly girl' let alone two.

"Come on Sarge if you want some fresh air I'll take you outside, we don't want you bumping into things and picking fights with people because of that silly flu now do we."

"Yes, nurse." Sarge grunted sarcastically.

[Agie]

Raffina was grumpy. About that. But she decided to go look for Amitie and company; by now, she's probably ready to go to this "Danny's world" or whatever it is.

So she found the group. "So I guess Monkey Idiot is joining, too, huh? What's with that lame bag of his?!"

"It's everything we're gonna need for this trip, snobby." Said Lupin.

After some discussion, they find a portal, and walk up to it. "You sure you're ready for this?" Asked Lupin. "It could be rather different from what we encountered before."

"You betcha!" Said Amitie.

"Um...okay." Said Sig.

"Why not?" Said Raffina. "They could have unique brands of beauty products!...maybe."

So they all prepare to walk into the portal.

When the group entered into the portal, they noticed a world very different than what Monokuma had shown them to throw distrust onto Danny. Where the world looked destroyed and in despair in Dark Danny's video, Amity Park was in one piece, and relatively fine, with a massive ghost shield appearing out of the FentonWorks building, placing the town under a bubble.

[Agie]

"Glad to see this place is in one piece...unlike what Monokuma showed us." Amitie said. "And it has a really nice name, too!"

"I...think you said that." Said Lupin. "But it looks pretty peaceful...what, did Monokuma show you a town that was in ruins?"

"Yes. Monokumo said he took it over." Said Sig. "It was awful and it made Amitie cry..." He was upset just remembering that. He wants to make Monokuma pay for that.

"Of course it made her cry!" Raffina said. "It was a wrecked town she was shown!" She slipped out.

"...Alright! Now let's find Danny's friends! There's that Sam girl we met back at the dance! Let's find her!" Amitie said.

"...Who?" Asked Raffina. She wasn't at the dance, remember?

Meanwhile, in a school...

"Alright, who has an answer to the question?" Mr. Lancer asked, annoyed as no one answered.

"Come on people! I'm not wasting my time here when I could be playing Doom- er I mean reading classic literature" 

Sam and Tucker were sitting bored in this classroom, fiddling with Fenton Gear.

Lupin and the Puyo trio enter the vicinity of the school. It looks quite peaceful, and fairly normal aside from the ghost gear.

"Well, I guess we'll start here." Said Lupin. "Can't be older than this age group."

They enter the school, where they start looking for the classroom, looking in each door to see which one it is.

In the Academy, some beats can be heard, somewhere... They're definitely tunes to dance to, if anything.

 

"Woo, that's some musical magic! I wonder what people will think of this one?" Lúcio thinks aloud, as he bops to the tune he's creating.
