I don't. There are other people who frequent this thread who also don't. That's the fundamental thing you don't understand every time you come in this thread.

But how is Obama an extremist on those things? Healthcare? Obamacare is largely corporatist; far more than it is "socialist" in any case. Taxes? He hasn't done anything on them. Bailouts? Bush did an awful lot of those things. Soldier accountability? How is that a bad thing?

I believe the Republicans blocked a lot of good proposals to ruin Obama's chances; but now, there's nothing that can stop him from re-election, so they will cooperate this time, since next election will be a clean slate.

No they won't. They've lost Senate seats, they've won House seats, and Romney may very win the popular vote (wouldn't that be funny). Obama will be fought at every single turn over every single thing; and if Romney does indeed win the popular vote the Democrats will shrink away from so many things you will swear they are the Wicked Witch of the West. Nearly two years of effort and hundreds of millions of dollars to keep things the same way as they were in 2010.

Hillary for 2016? I can see her being nominated.

If you actually look beyond political hyperbole, Obama is pretty moderate by US standards and that's saying nothing considering how far to the right America is compared to a lot of the developed world.

The better questions are, why do you think Romney's plan of starving the beast while trying to cut social programs like Medicare and Medicaid to the point of being ineffectual to compensate for reduced governmental revenue was somehow going to dig us out of this economic mess?

Why do you not recognize the fact that Obama's spending off-set some of the negative effects of this recession and refuse to recognize improvement?

Why do you think a healthcare plan modeled after the one Romney himself drafted up that was determined to be Constitutional by a conservative Judge is extreme?

Why do you think raising the tax rate on people who are not paying the actual stated tax rate is extreme? Why do you think closing tax loopholes is extreme?

Why do you think Romney was somehow going to be softer on the war when he's stated otherwise?

Why do you think Romney was going to be any better?

Why do you never proceed to make an actual argument in these topics?

Why am I responding to you when you've already made an inherently misogynistic statement in a fit of rage?

To say everyone who likes Romney is stupid would be pretty much doing what Romney did himself with that infamous 47% remark. It's not the probably. Being against Romney is a matter of course. Not liking his attitude, his tendency to change his opinions on crucial matters every now and again just to catch some breath et cetera are a matter of judgement.

'm hearing that there are roughly 100,000 ballots in the urban and Democratic-leaning Fairfax County of Virginia which have yet to be counted. NBC may call the state for Obama tonight, but isn't yet prepared to do so.

In Florida, Miami-Dade's vote counters have gone home for the night. Obama has a 50,000 vote lead in that state, breaching the 4 million mark, and it's hard to see how Romney can win now seeing as the only places left with votes to count are traditionally blue-leaning.

I'm just going to go ahead and say Nevada, Virginia and Florida are all Obama locks now.
