Newest Post/Notification Links Not Quite Working?

Hoping I'm not the only one experiencing this. Whenever I try to go to the newest unread post in a thread, or I receive a notice that someone has liked a post I made or has quoted me, I naturally follow the link. But when I do, the page bobs up and down as it loads, and I never quite know which post it's supposed to be directing me to.

Is there any way to fix that? I seem to have the problem on mobile and on desktop.
