Knuckles' Chaotix Bad ending. Possibly the most horrifying game over screen of all time, let alone in a Sonic game! Yeah it's a credits roll. But the way it is just screams 'Game Over' too. With the big Metal Sonic hovering over a blazing city...

Chaomaster, please shape up your typing pronto. Read the rules regarding acceptable typing - for example, we expect proper punctuation and capital letters to start sentences and for names and the word 'I', and we also don't allow 'text talk' such as '2' instead of 'too'.

I'll let this topic stand as people are replying to it, but this is your first and only warning regarding proper typing, so please heed ;)

Well I don't find it scary now but when I was little I always had a problem with drowning in Chemical Plant Act 2 and seeing my favorite character drown due to my incompentence was pretty horrifying for a four year old so I'd have to say Sonic 2's. Doesn't bother me now though. None of them do really. Except for if I were to play Sonic CD in the dark late at night.

The drowning music.

It gave you guys nightmares when you were kids 0_0.

"You guys?" So it didn't give you nightmares as a kid then? I can only assume that either means that you simply didn't play Sonic games as a kid or that you were the bravest child in the world. :P

This may seem like a bit of a tame choice compared to Eggman laughing in your face, but the Sonic Adventure game over music always gave me the creeps. It doesn't rely on anything blatant to get itself across, it's just a very unnerving thing to listen to after dying.

The Weakest Link from Hell seems to be a pretty fitting name. :P
