I hope Hit and Frost and Cabba are there.

Maybe have DBS Trunks, Zamasu and Black too if possible.

Looks as great as I expected.

But my biggest surprise was seeing Golden Freeza, does that mean Super is not out of the question like people thought by the title?

EDIT: Damn, Bamco wants that Esports creed.

Might be in. Keep in mind the movie he appeared in is called "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F".

Still love how it looks, though I will get destroyed in it. I can not online fight in these things to save my life.

No closed beta on PC. Damn.

Guess I'll have to buy PS Plus just for it. Crud.

You don't need ps plus for online beta's typically (the last one I was in I think was titanfall 2 and that didn't require one).

Boy this game is gonna be a clash between FGC and Casual DB fans.

No need for a clash. I'm hoping this will be the DBZ game that eases more casual fans into hardcore fighters. Arc System Works have the best tutorials in fighting games around, so doing it for DBZ would be fantastic.

Doubtful, unless the game has Netherealms or P4A level inputs, I see casuals being overwhelmed giving how complex the mechanics in ASW's fighting games are.

Man, I can't wait to beat Lord Beerus with Krillin

I'm actually pretty interested in this one by the visuals alone. I'm not too into fighting games (have really only dabbled with the Injustice games and going off you guys that's still not the best indicator for this) but I'm willing to try it out. I know one of my friends is already trying to pre-order it so it'll be a fun time either way.

You are right trying to compare this to injustice is leagues different. Think of it in terms of speed and function. Injustice is much much more slow than arc games. Take GG for example it is a combo heavy chain heavy guard break stun type game Hard to explain but your best bet :For anyone: wanting to at least get a feel of what this will more than likely be like rent or try guilty gear or blazblue. Guilty gear mostly cause the animations look closer to its new style to see about how fast this games going to work.

Yes.

Spoiler

I need more excuses to post this image because Namco and ARC swooped in and stole that 3v3 niche in record time after Capcom dropped it for Infinite.

You know we really have to appreciate how literally went "even further beyond" by giving us assists.

Here is pretty much all we know right now.

1. Characters

  • SSJ Goku ( Transforms into SSJ3)
  • SSJ Vegeta
  • SSJ2 Young Gohan
  • Final Form Freeza (Transform into Golden)
  • Cell
  • Majin Buu

2. Stages:

  • Planet Namek
  • Destroyed Namek
  • Wasteland
  • Budokai Tenkaichi Arena
  • Cell Games Arena
  • Moon (?)

Remember, the game is playable at E3 so we should see some gameplay these days.

The Z Warriors inc. both Teen and Adult Gohan, Future Trunks, 16, 17, Mr. Satan, Videl, Pan, Uub, Beerus, Hit, Cabba, Caulifla, Kale

Raditz, Nappa, Ginyu, Freeza, Dr. Gero, Cell, Majin Buu, Super Buu, Kid Buu, Dabura, Goku Black, Cooler, Broly, Omega Shenron.

Pretty safe roster assumption for DBFZ. Maybe ax Dabura for Bardock.

My roster idea(besides the 6 confirmed characters):

Spoiler

Kid Goku

King Piccolo

Tien

Krillin

Ginyu

Android 17

Android 18

Future Trunks

Majin Vegeta

Super Buu

Kid Buu

Ultimate Gohan

Beerus

SSB Goku

SSB Vegeta

Hit

Goku Black

Omega Shenron

SSJ4 Gogeta

Bardock

Broly

27 characters is pretty good IMO.

By the way, Goku going SSJ at the beggining is a refference to the Japanese 2nd DBZ Intro:
