Surprised I've never made a topic for this game.

Days Gone is an upcoming (PS4 exclusive) open world survival horror. It's being developed by SIE Bend Studio. Totally not The Last of Us

Based on the footage we've seen it's looking really good.

No release date yet. Although, there's a rumor of a December release this year.

So, are you guys interested in Days Gone? What do you think of it?

Dayly reminder for the 2 people who don't know: the developers of this game are the team behind the Syphon Filter franchise (and btw they haven't done a game at all since the PS2 days), and before that, more importantly, Bubsy 3D.
Goes to show how far one can redeem itself.

The game itself looks ok to me, nothing too spectacular but ok. Reminds me of what Ride to Hell: Retribution was supposed to be originally, plus zombies.

I am so burned out on the whole zombie thing these days that I just can't muster any excitement for this game. It's pretty as hell though, reminds me of 28 Days Later. Less excitingly, the running zombies also have that WWZ vibe to them, which in and of itself is off-putting. Perhaps I'll pick it up in a sale or something.

I was more talking about the open world survival horror.

I own a PS4 so its exclusivity doesn't bother me, Not that I plan to buy it anyway but you get my point.
