Male characters were always allowed to wear shirts. A lot of official artworks shows Sonic wearing clothes ranging from baseball clothes, to a equestrian jacket and kenpo gi at the Olympics. This doesn't break that rule.

The rule is they aren't allowed to wear pants (though apparently the Sonic Movie got around it).

No, she isn't, but that shouldn't stop her from stepping in when needed.

Guess that depends on what counts as actiony? She's been looking out for Tangle and getting her out of trouble, so she may be capable to some extent.

Hard to see her as an active fighter tho since she's easily frightened and a pacifist w/o any noticeable abilities except flight. Maybe a chase/escape sequence?

Maybe we shouldn't make any more characters that fit the Speed/Flight/Strength dynamic. Jewel only avoids becoming redundant because she's not a fighter.

Maybe a low-tier villian since Idk if she can handle anything too dangerous. Or a regular badnik. Non-flying enemies can still work if her flight is restricted (like being inside a building, carrying someone, or try to avoid being seen). I feel her solving things with her head feels more in character though.

#47 just read. It's... exactly what you expect.

Gang stop fire, learns lesson about friendship, end. Kinda impressed that it filled whole issue.

Art is still nice. Tangle might be immune to any psychical trauma.
Between this and "Chao Racing" Sonic officially likes sitting on people's roofs now. Never though this kink from Sonic X return.
Tangle has a tini tiny revelation and change in status quo.
And that Motobug needs a nickname and unique coat of paint to stand out.
I suggest pink & green and name "Toby" (As if MoTOB(Y)ug).

Other than that meh, to this issue and this arc in general. Nothing terrible, just not exciting either. The problem is that premise wasn't fascinating to begin.

Now gimme Surge and Chaotix.
