Opinion: A new Sonic TV series based on Modern Sonic

And really most cartoons these days are a mish-mash of all genres.  AT, Steven, StarVS, etc are basically comedy-slice of life-action/adventure-scifi-fantasy.  So i'd be cool with a toon with a bit of everything like those.  But we would have to wait until Boom ended.

Why not an action cartoon, though?

It was super successful and was watched in large numbers years after its end. 

I don't like sonic x, but to say "it didn't work out well " isn't true at all

Sonic Boom is excellent in the fact it doesn't take itself seriously at all. Each episode is like a 10 minute comedy sketch and its catered for everyone of all ages. To do a similar thing with Modern Sonic in my opinion they'd have to tone down on the humour and extend the length of the episodes. I would also want to see story arcs and continuity, if they can check all these boxes I'd love to see it done.
