My streamer is one off getting all the emeralds as Knuckles. 

Edit: Onto Knuckles' Mirage Saloon Act 1. It's very different.

He's currently screwing around with Debug Mode to find any special stage rings in the levels, since he needs a few more emeralds.

(Turns out the & Knuckles mode just adds Knuckles as an AI regardless of who you're playing as, and Debug Mode allows you to spawn special stage rings that soft-lock you if you enter them).

HOLY SHIT THE LEVELS ARE SO COOL I LOVE THEM

OMG SILVER SONIC FROM SONIC 2 ON GAME GEAR IS BACK

MY BOYS THE HOOLIGANS ARE BACK

HYDROCITYYYYY

I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IIIITTTTTT

will post more thoughts later, i'm on oil ocean now

also how do you use the extra moves

Knuckles MSZ Act 1 boss: A variation of the giant Caterkiller boss. No segway to MSZ Act 2 like Sonic has.

Oh my god, I don't even know what it could be.

I also wonder if there's anything to unlock if you get good endings with the other characters....

Uh, guys?

Reminder that you get Super Tails by collecting the Super Emeralds. Not the Chaos Emeralds. The Chaos Emeralds never do anything for Tails.

Unfortunately.

(Though, it'd be nice if they decided to break that little tidbit of lore because that's always been stupid. Even the Archie comics thought that was dumb and gave Tails a Super form.)

We saw a screen that showed Knuckles at the Emerald Shrine with the heavies around, and Knuckles had a thought bubble. It's a transition from Lava Reef Act 1 to Lava Reef Act 2 for Knuckles.

I like the fact HPZ from Sonic 2 is referenced in the level via the Rexxon from Hill Top Zone. 

Edit: Oh no, it's a boss fight with the Heavy King that references the Super Mecha Sonic fight! My mistake! There was a transition alluding to it, that's where I got confused.
