Well, both Green Hill and Chemical Plant were in Mania as well. And besides, it might be a "Episode Silver" stage since they confirmed more DLC.

And I'm pretty sure they won't choose only levels from Generations. For example, we got a remix of White Jungle.

If I were to choose old stages to return, they would be:

-White Jungle (SA2)

-Egg Fleet (Heroes)

-Kindom Valley('06)

-Starlight Carnival (Colors)

-Lava Mountain (Lost World)

Isn't the White Jungle theme just his music for his DLC in Green Hill?

Nope. That's Supporting Me.

White Jungle may be for his version of Ruined City or a new stage.

Why would White Jungle... be a City level theme.

But then again, why is Supporting Me in Green Hill.

...just roll with it, Indy. It'll all be over soon.

Supporting Me fitting or not is not based on the level, but the story.

As I said, White Jungle may play in a new level, not Ruined City.

Why couldn't White Jungle play... On White Jungle? O.o

Might be based on the story. Nothing to get needlessly stressed about.

Except if you are modern or Avatar Indi.

They cannot roll in Sonic forces except in scripted areas!

It'd actually make sense, though perhaps not intentionally so.

Most likely it's just for Episode Shadow, but it'd be cool to see White Jungle again somehow. The island was blown up but is still there if ShTH is any indication, so... ?

Yeah, White Jungle specifically isn't returning; after all the songs played, Ohtani listed off the music tracks and where they were from, and listed White Forest for the Shadow DLC. And since we already know that the unique stages for Shadow's DLC take place in Green Hill, (and that it's DLC; they're not going to make an entire new zone for it :V) it's pretty safe to say the zone specifically isn't making a return imo.

One thing to keep in mind is that the locations from past games are being presented as if they're in the present, if Green Hill is anything to go by. They weren't warped from back in time, they're in their current state. That would rule out White Jungle and any other place that "BLOWS UP?!?!"

I don't think Sega is that smart...they clearly are blasts to the past! :P
