i know i already made a "here's my cool game idea" thread, but i came up with a game idea that's much simpler basically so i can learn how to use unity.

this idea is night of the glowflies, an arcade-styled game i want to release for free on my website. i just want to make this game so i can learn unity's interface and stuff.

here's how the game will play, with poorly-drawn pictures to demonstrate.

you play as a glowfly, represented as a floating ball of light (seen here)

the point of the game is to collect the stars in the sky, while avoiding enemies represented by purple balls of light. bumping into one costs you one HP.

that doesn't mean you can't kill them, though. blue stars give you powerups.

killing an enemy gives you 50 points.

i want to make this game to learn unity and provide a relaxing experience for anyone seeking it. what do you think about this idea? let me know!
