Never said anything about anyone disagreeing with me, i specially said those that have hated it from the start. But again this time I would like mod weigh in. Just so im clear that i can tell a fan who has to log on and say its disheartening to see such things and for me to try to tell them basically hey if you like the game and have waited for it in excitement go for it dont let the piles of shit comments that have been the same for quite awhile make you change your mind.

Complete lacklustre public demo.

The same 3 levels used over and over to promote the game.

Less than 50% the average RRP for a typical new videogame.

Ridiculous new villain who kept getting a new super power and ability every time a trailer got shown. 

Plus the development problems that I heard about.

Well, I didn't knew. But it's not much wanting the game to fail. It was going to fail on itself without anyone wanting anything. And sincerely, at this point, I doubt Sonic Team can learn any lesson, friend. :/

The music’s hit and miss for me I think I like the modern songs and with the exception of ghost town for classic sonic, I don’t know what happened there. I’m not a fan of how a lot of the music is super synthesized

My statement that Infinite was a terrible character will now be retracted.

Infinite isn't even a character. He was just an illusion created by the Phantom Ruby. He had no backstory, no motive, no connection to anyone in the game; Just another construct like the fake Chaos/Shadow/Metal/Zavok. There was even thousands of him in the end.

Like, this is the character Sonic Team wanted people to get hyped for all this time?

 

Anyway, glad to see Eggman be the final boss and main villain, but I also feel like they mishandled his character and really dropped the ball on actually showing us what life under the Eggman Empire was like. This was a chance to get some really fantastic Eggman content and they squandered it.

I feel like they sacrificed a lot of personality quirks to make him more of a threat, hell even in the final battle he's mute. Characters are chattering all throughout the game and you have him quiet for the final fight.
