Wait a second

 

After you get all RSRin a stage, you can get Numbered Rings.

After you get those, you can get Moon Medals.

This might have great replay value

Getting all red rings in a stage unlocks the numbered rings for that stage. Getting all of those then unlocks the moon medals for the stage

So you are able to collect green rings by collecting all 5 red rings. THEN you can collect a silver moon ring after you collected green rings

Oh bby 100% will get somewhat tedious.

Why would anyone design a game like this. There's no point besides making the player waste more time grinding out collectables.
