You have to give Forces one thing: the soundtrack's lit.

It's not bad, but certainly not the best.

Classic Green Hill is a stinker. The rest of the Classic music using pseudo-16 bit sounds is also pretty lame.

The Modern Sonic tracks are cool, but filled with the same awful lead synth in all three tracks released so far, which sounded bad in a certain other game too. They could use it in one or two tracks, but just sounds messy and unpleasant when it's everywhere.

Avatar tracks are actually pretty good, as is Infinities theme. Fuck Fist Bump though.

okay

Hope the stage is at least full of statues and emblems in Eggman's likeness, eh?

Unless the image is lying to us, it's the music for Shadow's version of Casino Forest.

I really hope that this stage will be specifically made for Shadow, tbh. That screenshot made me realize how much I want another stage in the same vein as SA2's Shadow stages, so an all-original stage made for Shadow would rule so hard

Now this is a song I can get behind.

Guitars. Rocking out. None of that synth crap, in my opinion, that has been getting very obnoxious in the songs lately.

In my opinion, this is Sonic music at its best.

A majority of the song is still synth sound effects and electronic distortions, though. It's the way it's handled that makes the difference.

Like I said, it's not as obnoxious this time. It sounds so much better. And the remixed guitars just add to it.
